  Our first encounter with Rojas Construction - they stained our cabin in Gatlinburg. We are local and have been looking for a business to do that. Rojas was lower estimate and responded quickly. Everyone was professional and we are more than happy with the work on our cabin. Will use Rojas again. We trust this company!

  I should have not worked with this company as Joseph, did not show or call for his first appointment of getting an estimate. He claimed he was in Costa Rico for a death in his family. I again allowed him another opportunity to come and do an estimate and mailed him 10k to come start the job. My cabin being rented I rented another cabin to make sure I was there Monday at 8am to start the job. Not only did he not show he didn’t call. I of course being very concerned continued to call and text him with no response. Tuesday at 2:30 am he texted and said he was in Costa Rico again, vacationing and would be here the next morning. He did show up that day and they started the job. The next day again, no show, no call. I continued to call him. He did come the next day, losing and entire day and not completing the work, I had to reschedule for another time again taking my cabin off the market. He insisted I pay him an additional 5k which I did. The next month I came back and again many no calls and no shows. I had to get additional railings so I paid him another 8k. I admit, I being a military widow and trying to work with this egotistical attitude felt very pressured and alone. I asked him to stay on site for his workers were destroying my cabin with stain and saw dust covered shoes... not caring and I felt it was unfair that I over see his people. I came back today for the third time to try and still work with him as I needed the work done. He shows up after again sending me harassing bullying text, tells me pretty much too bad about what was and wasn’t done. Once he arrived he did get his guys going and again proceeded to leave me to over see his workers. I found one of the workers using pieces of wood and caulk and plugs for my railings. I spoke with him and told him that is not the correct process, he said call Joseph. I texted Joseph, he did return and became nasty and tried bullying me again. I told him to just stop and take his guys and leave. Joseph had already left the job site again 45 mins of being on site, when he promised me all in texts he would stay and over see his workers. Joseph said he was suing me. He demanded I pay him another 8k. I told him to leave. He finally left and sent texts telling me the company he bought the hand rails from was joining his law suit against me. That night the company that he purchased the rails from sent me an invoice with demand for payment with late fees. This entire process is wrong in so many ways. Do NOT do business with Rojas, The only thing they do is stain over all the work promised and contracted for.

  Joseph and team re-stained our cabin and replaced wood siding as required. They started the job as promised and completed it within the timeframe indicated. We appreciate their workmanship and work ethic and love the finished results. Thanks Rojas - appreciate your team
