I’ve been dealing with company since August 2021for some storm damage that I had. I decided to use my own Public Adjustor before calling them, but they could have handled all of the insurance issues. It’s February 2022 and they just came to install the new roof! Ben was amazing all along the way, offering help whenever I needed it. They kept in contact with me for 1/2 year making sure I was being taken care of! I’m truly grateful that I stuck with them and had them install the roof. It took two days to complete and crews were very respectful about landscaping and cleaning up nails. Can’t say enough good things!!! Definitely recommended! They were the best price for same quality shingles/work. Thanks Ben!!

It is currently 1-20-22 and our journey with this company started 5-11-21, and it is not yet over. Their quote was actually the best one we got out of 5 different companies but in this case, it is a matter of you get what you pay for. They were quick to collect money and said that it would start between 6-8 weeks. So on week 9 I ask what has happened. Turns out the material is backed up because of covid. Ok, fair enough not their fault. However, I never receive any updates unless I ask for them. And even then there are multiple times where I ask for an update, they say they will get back to me and nothing. They told me sometime in August. Day comes and goes and no update on what happened so it is up to me to track them down and ask. At no point during any of this do they update me on their own, I always had to ask. Finally the day comes around in December to put the roof on. After they finished I walked around the outside of the house to find garbage and a reciprocating saw blade they left in my driveway. On top of that, part of my lawn was destroyed because one of their trucks got stuck. On the first day it rained, the roof leaked. FIRST DAY. They did come out and fix/patch it that night but point is, it still leaked. Now the battle is to get my lawn fixed and at this point I figure it is not going to happen. So that is more money I get to spend. Basically, go with another company. save yourself the headache. Learn from my mistake. Take note of timestamps for the text and email pictures. Edit - First and last edit in response to the company. There are holes in the yard that were caused by the vehicle, it was definitely not smoothed out as you say. And as for the refusal of the help in fixing my yard, nothing was being done until after I posted the review. In addition, I did not feel it was ethically correct to accept the offer since it was meant as a bribe to have my review removed. See the newly attached picture.

Gustavo - Thank you for taking the time to express your frustrations with your overall experience using our company. We are sorry to hear that you feel that we failed you on communication and follow through. We strive to be the best that we can be on every project, but we are obviously not perfect. I am happy to hear that outside of the small leak that we took care of within a matter of hours, you are satisfied with how the overall roof turned out. We apologize for not communicating with you more often about your material arrival. The supply chain issues were out of our control and we were very lucky to get the tapered insulation boards for your project in 5 months. Because of those issues, we had minimal updates from our suppliers so we did not communicate as much as normal as we did not have any new information. If we ordered the same material right now in January, I would not arrive for at least 10 months. I would also like to note that we felt bad about the delay and even though it was not our fault, we did not raise your costs by the over $3000 material cost increase that we had during that time to get your material as most other contractors would have done and something we are contractually allowed to do. We apologize for any of the trash that was missed when our crew left, there are no real good excuses no matter the situation for leaving any trash. Your yard is composed of very malleable soft sugar sand. Unfortunately, there was not much our trailer driver or supplier could do without leaving some tracks in your yard. Our salesman came out to get the few pieces of trash and smooth out your yard not long after the job was completed. I have included pictures that show we had smoothed out the majority of the issues to your satisfaction and provided grass seed - which is the best course of treatment for super soft sand in December. You pointed out two specific spots that you would like taken care of and our sales person informed our office(see picture with two red circles). We have also been in constant communication with you and fixing the last two remaining spots - and our supplier also contacted you to help fix your yard and you refused to allow them to take care of it. Again, we apologize for our shortcomings throughout this project and have taken some concrete steps to avoid any of these communication failures in the future.

Joe Trotter was extremely helpful and great to work with. We are very happy with the new roof: The combination of colors, the quality of the tiles, the top quality of the workmanship, and the quality of the crew going the extra mile to protect property and clean afterward. Highly recommend Residential Roofing Depot.
