  R. Short Roofing installed two new flat roofs for us recently and we are very happy with the price and quality. Kevin and Laura are responsive and efficient. I'm happy with the decision and plan to use R. Short again in the future.

  R. Short really had their work cut out for them! I had a DIFFERENT contractor 6 years prior put on a new roof. Since then my garage leaked! They would come out every few months and caulk it. I was very defeated until someone from the same company came out and told me I needed new siding and smaller windows up away from the roof. He explained that they couldn't put proper flashing on my roof. Why this wasn't explained to me 6 years ago...I have no idea. I went with their most expensive option. I did not want this company to do anymore work.... I called John from R. Short. John really worked with me and my house quirks! He went to my house several times with Nick and Ralph trying to figure out the best option for me. I was very nervous because of my past experience with the other contractor. I really trusted John and felt comfortable with what they would be able to do for me. It took a bit longer because of my house having layers upon layers of old siding. The end result with new windows, new insulation and new siding was amazing. Nick came out several times to help clear up the original contractor's mistakes on the roof. Thank you Nick and John for all your help! I definitely recommend this company for all your home needs! They really help you understand what needs to be done and take their time making your house whole again!

  I am thrilled that we went with R Short Roofing for our house. There are the "big boys" who will charge you an arm, a leg, a first-born and there are the fly-by-night roofers where their warranty will be moot because they will be out of business well before then. R Short Roofing is one of the companies that occupy the sweet spot in the middle -- trustworthy, good workmanship, extremely fair pricing. When there was bad weather leading up to our job, Ralph's crew came on a Sunday to get the job done in good time. This mattered since we had a leak. When there were a few minor items on the back end that needed following up on, Ralph refused final payment until all loose ends were tied up. These are the little things that show the character of a great company. Highly recommended!
