After speaking with my landlord, Anthony was supposed to call me or text me on Friday night confirming an estimate on a roof leak for late Sunday morning or early afternoon. I get a call about 3:00 on Sunday saying he's "30 seconds away." He shows up, hands me his card and tells me all about his references, then climbs up to the roof where he stays a whopping five minutes, then leaves without saying a word to me. He then tells my landlord that "he doesn't do Band-Aids" and wants to replace the entire roof for a single leak. Bear in mind his business card reads "Why Not Repair Rather Than Replace." For someone who obviously doesn't want the work, he's a real piece of work. Needless to say, we're finding someone else.
