  I hired Props Consulting to remove my old wood siding, replace my insulation, install new patio doors and windows with fiberglass exterior/wood interior Marvin products, and then side the house with James Hardie fiber cement siding. Since fiber cement board can fail, and the warranty be voided if guidelines are not followed, having an experienced James Hardie preferred installer like Props Consulting do the job was really important to me. I could find no other local installer with their expertise. The owner, John, worked for Hardie and helped write the guidelines on the installation. Props exceeded my expectations in their attention to detail and willingness to work with me to find the solutions I wanted. The interior window sill and trim replacements on the interior now look as if they were always there, despite house settling and issues with fitting the new windows into old openings. On the interior, a number of the new windows and patio doors, along with their trim, were carefully stained to match my woodwork. Everyone at the company had my satisfaction as their goal. My crew leader, Luis, was exceptional for aiming to please, for his carpentry skill, and for going above and beyond. Dylan, my crew manager, had a calming influence on what was a huge and detailed job with challenges throughout, even helping out with details himself. In addition, I was impressed with John the owner, who carefully checked on the job as well as advised; Kelly in the office; and the crew members whom I saw for hours every day and worked really hard despite the cold and snow of Winter 2020. I couldn’t be more pleased with how my house turned out, and neighbors have texted raves!

  Props is an outstanding company. The replaced our siding with James Hardie Board and built a new, Fiberon composite deck. The work surpassed my expectations. Great attention to detail and budget.

  Had them out early summer to look a water intrusion issue. Said that a water test needed done, but they were really busy so put off until September. I did a test and found where water is coming in at. Called them in September and said they still have to do a test and it would be November. Called beginning of November and they didn't even have us on any schedule. So on to somebody else who wants the business! Too bad I cannot give 0 stars.
