  First I would like to acknowledge that the work performed by Precision to provide water service to my boat dock was outstanding. The technician listened to my own idea about the scope of work and then, in a courteous and professional matter, suggested alternatives. I agreed to most of his suggestions and a price was presented and accepted to begin work. When the job was completed, I accepted the bill without question or discussion. However, in spite of all the good work performed, I find the Company's method of billing too vague and confusing. There is no hourly rate. There is no detail list of parts used and their price. To determine whether the billing was fair, I did my own analysis. I accept the $100.00 service fee and allowed $120.00 for parts, which is reasonable. Time on the job was just under 3 hours. After subtracting parts cost and service fee from the total bill and then dividing the balance by 3 gives me an hourly rate. By this analysis, I paid more than $350.00/hr for the services of one technician. The above rate is an excessive fee. I did not see it until I did the analysis. I believe Precision employs good people and their work ethic is excellent. However, I would only use Precision again under a more fair pricing method.

As you had mentioned we always present the options and pricing up front to allow our clients to make the decision on how they would like to move forward. The technician that arrived and performed the work for you is a 20 year veteran and master plumber to the trades. A skilled individual will always perform the work quicker and more efficiently than someone with less experience. We have found that the majority of our clients appreciate the efficiency rather than sending out individuals with less experience that could take much longer. Would you have been happier or felt you received a better value if the water was off all day to your home and the technician struggled to complete the repair? That may be a perspective to consider? Some companies will hire anyone and send them out to perform work. We in fact only hire roughly 1% of applicants to our company to ensure we are providing the best experience for our clients. We employee only background tested and drug free individuals to ensure the safety and well being of our clients. Thank you again for the opportunity to perform the work for you and your family. As always the work we performed is warrantied for years to come in the event a problem does arise.

  We’ve used Jeff at Precision Plumbing for 2 different houses, and he’s all but replumbed our new (old) house including reworking the completely disabled septic system. Jeff is professional, timely, and incredible at what he does. He even suggested another company when we had well issues. He could do it, but I could get it cheaper elsewhere. Who does that? Anyone I speak to about Jeff always agrees he’s honest to a fault, and he won’t do the plumbing work unless it can be done right. We trust him implicitly and I can wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in the Eastern Shore with plumbing/water issues. He’s worth the wait! Also, don’t hesitate to call him for the water softening system. It’s a game changer.

  Jeff and the folks at Precision are the ONLY plumbers I will ever use for my home. We have many water outlets in our house... 9 sinks, 4 toilets, 3 showers, 2 tubs, and 3 outdoor spigots. He knows every one of them.. and has either installed or maintained them for the 12 years we have been in our old home. We will not be looking around. More stars than the review will let me have.
