Triple C Construction was previously known as Precision Construction. We had hired them to build a screened in room with skylights and replace 2 wooden decks with composite (trex). What we got was a room with a terribly leaking roof, 2 leaking plexiglass skylights, terrible caulking and painting job, indoor wood for outside framing and moldings, indoor wood used for some of the decking, both decks do not have enough joists and no joist brackets were used for support, finishing work was horrendous and they cut corners where ever they could. When we contacted Charles Galloway (phone, email, left paper notes at his shop) because of all the issues we have been having he either ignored or said he would come fix them but didnâ t show. We made multiple attempts and he had then blocked our phones. It is costing us 30% (of what we spent) more to only meet code requirements, and does not include having his electrical work checked/fixed and the finishing work completed. He did not pull a permit or have inspections done. After digging deeper on getting information about him we found that he does not have a contractors license nor does he have an electricians license and has a criminal background. Here’s just a few pictures of his work.

Full disclosure...I was going to NOT post any review in favor of posting one that was less than 5-star. I liked these guys. I liked them so much that I offered to have them put a sign in the yard while the work was going on to help refer more business. I liked them so much that I referred them to our friends - who purchased a sun-room and deck. We contracted Charles and Precision for a driveway and sidewalk. Ours was in horrible shape, probably having been last done in the 1950's. We had almost as much grass as concrete. Charles came out and provided an estimate ($9000) that looked fair, so we accepted. Before beginning the work, Charles informed us that it would be another $1000.00 for "taxes" that he had not included on the bid. We nearly decided to go out for additional estimates or hold off but were so ready to get it done that we just paid it. Charles said work would begin on X date. That day arrived and no-show. I called. He said he was waiting on a dumpster to haul the concrete off (3rd party). No problem. We waited another week or so and they showed up. They worked in the rain and shine and completed the job in good time. If this was the end of review...5 stars. Here's where they lose a couple. See the pics posted. Their finishing skills need work: - The brushed finish was spotty with obvious places missed - The slag was pushed up against borders and walls and not troweled, leaving sloppy lumps and piles of concrete at the edges. - More slag was brushed (or allowed to run into) into the 5' drain. We had to make an emergency call during the first heavy storm - a week after completion. Jimmy showed up quickly to clean out the 75% plugged drain while water rushed through our garage. - Two piles of waste concrete were dumped in the middle of the yard. I did give permission for them to fill in holes with it but it was just dumped anywhere. - The expansion cuts were made with a hand saw, not a larger walk-behind concrete saw, so are sloppy, don't go to most edges, and are crooked - one so bad that they backed up and started over (see image). - One of the framing boards was probably warped, leading to a fat-lip edge on one side. - Framing posts and a metal spike were left behind. Piles of slag concrete and debris were not picked up. When I called them for a final walk-around with fix-it items, they came out and removed the spikes, patched the driveway end with asphalt (poorly and without tamping), and left, saying they would be back to take care of the 3" gap at the end and fix/finish the slag. They came back and did a 2nd asphalt patch with a tamp that looks better but never resolved the other items. The images here are their final product. I am greatly concerned with the long-term prospects of their work. Charles claimed that using rakes to pull up the metal screening was sufficient as opposed to pinning it up in a rebar framework. He claimed that the many trips made with the skid loader and dump truck had packed down the soil sufficiently that no crushed stone or underlay was needed. We are seeing hairline cracks already at the sidewalk junction and almost every expansion. As I said at the beginning...it is our referral that prompted this review. While it took several calls on our part and several trips back by Precision to get an OK result, our friend's project is a mess. I will leave it to them to post their own review but suffice to say that calls are going un-returned and they are stuck with a leaking sun-room, water-stained mess on the front porch where indoor materials were used to (poorly) finish, an improperly supported deck for the board weights used (too much bounce and flex), cracked calk joints a week after application, and too much more to list. I question their commitment to customer satisfaction, "100% guarantee" or warranty after a less than satisfactory result. The kicker is that both my wife and I and our friends were going to use them for additional projects...not now.

Do NOT use this company. My best friend and her husband hired them. Triple C took their money, only showed up occasionally, vowed they couldn't find the supplies. My friend and her husband found the supplies and bought them. Triple C still kept the money, and disappeared. They are also not licensed in NC for certain jobs, but will take a job knowing this and not disclose. They will not return your phone calls and their address is an empty building. Good luck taking them to court,
