  We hired Platinum Exteriors of Westminster, Md. to add a new sun porch, install new windows, doors, and siding to our house and detached 3 car garage. We interviewed a total of four contractors, including Platinum. When the owner, Brian Long, met with us to discuss our project, we knew we wanted to work with him -- and his competitive quote sealed the deal. Brian is very good at listening and helping work through decisions. This was a very big project for us and we had a lot of questions and some things we didn’t know we had to ask. Brian helped us through it all and his sincerity assured us he had our best interests at heart. He delivered on that assurance every day throughout the project. Brian and his team were very knowledgeable about their business, and paid meticulous attention to the details. Things we would worry about, Brian brought up for consideration before we had the time to ask in most cases. Brian was also very communicative about schedules, weather, or other related delays - he texted with design ideas or pictures and returned all our calls and texts. The whole team was dedicated, hard-working, knowledgeable and provided quality craftsmanship. D.J. and his crew knew so much about their craft and could handle everything that came up. The roofing and siding team were truly artists and didn’t waste any time getting the job done. We were absolutely amazed at how the new siding COMPLETELY transformed the house. Every little detail on the house was tended to, from framing around the garage doors, to the new attic fan vents, and even cleaning the gutters before they were re-installed. We soon learned we didn’t have to worry about things being done correctly or completely – as the Platinum team has the same high quality standards we have. Brian and his team earned our complete trust, which we think is a rarity, and it meant the world to us. They worked on our home, like they were working on their own homes.   Great company! We had some shingle damage from a severe storm and after expert consult, decided to replace our aging roof. Contacted Brian, the owner, through the website and got an immediate response. He inspected the roof, gave us some options, and then got us scheduled. The entire job was completed within 2 weeks of my initial contact. Brian is knowledgeable and trustworthy, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The materials are high-quality and the roof looks amazing. I especially appreciated the prompt communication and felt really lucky to get scheduled (and completed) so quickly. His crew was professional, hard-working, and did a beautiful job. Would hire again without hesitation!
