  Not only did we purchase our first and forever home, but we were expecting our first child. At the time, the house we purchased was outdated, closed off, and inconvenient for a family. Upstairs-the house had one bedroom and the master bath was the only full bathroom. The vision of Tanner and Logan at Plain View Design + Build truly transformed our house and made it into our home. We are no longer living in the 90s. Our home is modern and up-to-date and convenient for our family. Tanner and Logan added a bedroom, full bath, and a laundry room to our main floor. Plain View Design + Build was professional, had great communication skills, and truly eliminated the stress of a renovation especially as we welcomed our first child. We couldn’t recommend them enough!

  When we decided to build a house, we wanted it to be everything we ever wished we had, and include all the things over the years that we loved about our other houses. Things like a south facing driveway, large open living spaces, a modern aesthetic, phenomenal views, an art studio, and outdoor spots to enjoy North Dakota's summers. The process we went through with Plain View Designs was so creative and fun. They got to know us and really spent time being thoughtful about the design. They took into consideration the build site and how we could maximize the views and sun, but minimize wind. They even helped us plan out a place to hide our garbage cans. We wanted simple yet dreamy and that's exactly what we got. They are absolute artists when it comes to modern design.

  Plain View Design is Five Star!! Tanner and Logan’s professionalism is unmatchable. From the very first meeting, we felt like family to them and not just clients. Their excitement and determination to build your custom dream, assures you that you are sitting in the right seat. Wether building a new home, updating your existing space or adding on, whatever your vision is, you are going to get it. Their initial process is very well thought out to gain crucial information needed about your build. Your dreams and aspirations, your design style, likes and dislikes and even wether you like plants or where you like to read. Building a home is an exciting adventure! But it is kinda scary as well, especially if you are like us and have no idea of where to even start. When you meet Tanner and Logan and go through their initial processes, there will be no doubt in your mind they have the ability to produce your dream! The ONLY regret I have is that we didn’t follow through with Tanner, Logan and Plain View Design. Life is full of choices and is forever changing. Sometimes throwing a wrench into those choices. However, the opportunity that we had to meet and work with such a wonderful team, gives me confidence, that the end result of our journey with them, would have been unsurpassable!
