  We chose PK after a bad hail storm a few years ago. We chose them because they were local and didn't see anything bad about them. Before them we talked to a couple other companies who were not interested in what we wanted, they just wanted to get the job done. PK were different, they listened and actually found a solution that was exactly what we wanted. PK Dependable is more of a management company than anything else. The plan was excellent, but the execution was not perfect, but they made everything right. Since then we've dealt with other local roofing companies for business and at my wife's parents house. Until you deal with the "other" companies who seem smooth, but lack the follow-through, you can't appreciate PK's work ethic. I hope they are the same quality company today that they were 6 years ago.

  PK did my roof on a home I just purchased in Belleville. They had the most competitive bid and I'd heard good things in the past so I went with them. They didn't show up repeatedly after promising to several days in a row. When they did show up the crew worked fast and did a good job cleaning up my yard when finished. However, after inspecting my roof I wasn't able to spot any vents installed as they should have been per contract (all roofs are supposed to have vents, I don't know how the crew could miss this.) When I inquired about this I was ensured that the vents had been installed and they basically told me to look harder for them. I had to get several other people to look at the roof and we realized that indeed, no vents had been installed. They eventually came back and put in a few ridge vents, which aren't sufficient ventilation for the way my roof is deigned according to other contractors, but I'm sick of dealing with them. Over all, this company is a pain in the neck to deal with and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
