My experience with PJ Roofing starts with a storm this July. It was a very strong storm, 8.5 inches and 70 mph shear winds all day. We called PJ Roofing (we were at our home up North) and they provided an estimate for our home in High Point. Not only did it cover a new roof but the estimate included flashing work which was the reason for water intrusion into our home. We had only owned the home less than a year with no history of a long standing construction flaw for which PJ Roofing had a fix. It's hard to do business from 1300 miles away but PJ Roofing foreman Dan P. was very helpful on communicating the price and the real fix. When they put the roof on, the installation was excellent, from underlayment to ridge vent to shingle alignment. Now, here's the great part, the flashing work to orevent the actual leak was not formally written in the contract but over several months Dan P. assured me it would be done. However, the roof was done a week before we arrived here and due to a crew mix up, the flashing work was not complete. Further, a solar light was moved out of alignment during roof installation. I called Dan P. and he reiterated that they had promised the extensive flashing work and would fix the solar. Two days later both thing were done, we monitored for leak over the next two hard, rainy days...it was perfect, not a drop of rain got into the house. Here's the point, the two items I mentioned were not in the contract but PJ Roofing more than stood up to their commitment! They followed through to make sure we were completely satisfied. It was great to have a company deliver as promised as they didn’t back out of their word. A five star performance.
