The folks at Penco were fantastic to work with and we really appreciate everything they did to help us during the process. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again.

I have waited to post this review for months hoping this company will make right all they’ve done wrong. It’s been made clear today there’s no chance of that. I am left with a home that’s in disrepair, a job that’s been paid for, them insisting we owe more money even though proof of payment has been sent multiple times. The invoices have constantly changed. The paint is peeling, the floors have black water marks between the boards, a dumpster was left on the property for MONTHS. Initially, I had given this company a glowing review but I take back every kind thing I said. It took them over a year to finish the 2 rooms they were contracted to repair. In that time we dealt with a flat out rude project manager, going months without seeing them or hearing from them. We had no issues with the initial mitigation and cleanup, as this was a structure fire. Our issues began and are ongoing with the actual repair of structure portion. I have photos, emails, screen shots and records of this entire ordeal. If you’re a home owner, look elsewhere. This has been such an awful experience and I hope to save someone from the same experience.

The amount owed on the job has not been altered other than applying payments. In addition, we have broken down the payments received and the estimate for you in writing several times to include forwarding the emails we received from USAA outlining money they paid out on the insurance claim. We have a signed Certificate of Completion (on 11/9/20) from the property owner, stating we completed the contracted work. The COC should not have been signed had your father felt the home was still in disrepair. Penco also received a very positive review from you a month after the work had been completed which contradicts claims of unfinished work. Per our software notes, from the day the COC was signed and while you were making payments to us you did not mention any workmanship issues until it was time for the final payment owed. As an upstanding company, we’ll be more than happy to uphold the workmanship warranty if there are quality issues. If you have items that need to be addressed, please contact our office.

Our dishwasher leaked and soaked a lot of out kitchen floor and our insurance agent recommended Penco. So far so good. The last three days has been noisy and annoying with fans and a large dehumidifier going in out kitchen but Penco is here removing the items. Tim especially was awesome, he was a part of the crew that got here within two hours of the first phone call to Penco. They only removed the wet boards so we had as little displacement as possible in our kitchen. I recommend giving these folks a call if you need water/leak remediation. I will update the review with the rest of the restoration process with Penco.
