  I hate writing negative reviews on Facebook and wanted to avoid writing this one, but I feel it is necessary. We have used Parker Roofing in the past and had no issues, but something has changed. I originally contacted Parker Roofing in June to fix a leak in our roof. They returned my call promptly and came out the next Saturday morning to fix the leak. Charged $140/150, which I gladly paid. He told me before he left that they stand behind their work 100% and if I had any issues to just call and they would come back and fix free of charge. A few weeks later it rained and the leak was still present. So I called back and got a quick response again. They came right out and said they’ve corrected the issue and we shouldn’t have any other problems. The very next rain, the leak was still present. I called Parker yet again. They were a little more difficult to reach this time, but ended up coming out to attempt to fix. Then Hurricane Ida hit and water is still leaking into my house. I called Parker on September 1st. Got a call back that he would call me the next day. He never called. Called back the next week and was told I was still on the list to be contacted. I called a couple more times over the next couple weeks to no avail. So I called end left one last voicemail on September 30, but still have not received a phone call. So now my ceiling is more damaged than before Parker came and I will have to contact a different roofing company to fix what they will not. I love using local people for repairs and services and hoped to avoid writing this review. The Parkers are very nice people, but for whatever reason refuse to return my calls to fix my roof. Just not a good look to ignore customers.

  Alan Parker fixed my 88yo mommas roof. Doing so they knocked a hole in the ceiling. Not realizing that, she paid him and we can’t get him to come back and fix it. He took advantage of a little old lady. Nothing more to say. Shame on you Alan.

  ---Short Version---- Friendly guy, but failed on keeping appointment, didn't attempt to fix the roof after the first failure. In my opinion, do not use to fix your roof. He may be great at putting on a new roof, but if you need patch jobs or have minor leaks, he is not the guy to use. ----- Great guy, friendly, able to get along with and personable (Mr. Parker). However, won't show up and keep appointment times. He was suppose to come a Friday to tarp the top of my roof to stop some of this leaking as requested by the insurance company. He didn't give me a call or try to get in touch with me when that Friday came, I talked to him the day before (Wednesday or Thursday). Charged me 120 dollars to reseal a water heater vent on the roof that took less than 10 minutes and didn't even try to get into the attic where all the damage was occurring. Told me to call him back if the issue persist. He did give me time to get cash from the ATM after I found out he only accepts cash and didn't give me any problems with meeting me right down the road to pay him. This review is not about him being a bad person, however, I just believe when it comes to fixing a roof the service is just sub-par, at least in my experience. Has a good personality; I am sure he is great putting on a new roof, however, I do not believe he is interested in fixing minor roof issues. I give him a one star because he has left me in a bind has me having to get someone out of town to come in to fix my roof and actually go into my attic having me wait even longer with all this rain occurring causing even more problems. You take a gamble using him in my opinion.
