I feel compelled to warn anyone who may be looking to install a traditional wooden picket fence in this area. I hired NNK fence co. because I assumed they'd be the best option around. I was told the job would take 2-3 days. What I ended up getting was a fence that was installed in 1 day. The posts had no time to set in the tiny amount of concrete that was used. The pickets we then set on the ground and simply nailed into the railings. Nothing was leveled. Now maybe that's how some people like their fence, but in my world a picket fence should be as level as possible. My yard isnt perfectly level, but most aren't. No pickets were trimmed or adjusted. What resulted was a fence that, in my opinion, looked ridiculous. For the price, I thought I would have a professional installation. Instead I had guys nailing pickets up in the dark using only the light of their cell phones and complaining about how they were ready to leave. I am not exaggerating. Maybe they should have taken a lunch break and the full 2-3 days for install. I expressed my disappointment to the owner twice, but was told it was done correctly. Maybe this company is great with other types of fencing, but if you want a level, straight wood picket fence, I recommend saving some money and calling someone else. Or doing it yourself. Edit: To the anonymous "MW" a nail gun sounds the same in the dark as it does during the day. Maybe you should come see your work in the daylight. While you're at it, you can fix my vinyl fence that was supposed to be repaired as part of the 11,000 price tag and never was touched.

Northern Neck Fence Company installed a vinyl coated fence and in addition installed a "cat fence" around the top. They did an excellent job and went above and beyond to research the cat fence to ensure it was properly installed. High quality fence and it's certainly level and secure. Thank you to all who helped.

First off Northern Neck Fence Co. has accomplished large amounts of jobs for plenty of highly enthusiastic customers, in which I have seen. I am writing this review in response to the first and only review on Google till now. The job referenced to by this one dissatisfied customer is unfactual and down right misleading and could be slanderous. The job was completed with the help of 6 people who worked 17 total hours to complete. The posts were dry packed and professionally installed with 30+ lbs. of concrete a piece and 60+lbs. on the corners and gates before she even arrived to the job. The whole job was floated in ("leveled") to the grade of the property, nothing was just nailed to the ground but instead was nailed to a string line corresponding to the flow of the land (except for 1 out of 1,300 aprox. pickets shown in her pic.). EVERY POST AND PICKET WAS LEVEL. Now her dissatisfaction arose from the top of the fence varying along with the slope of the property on one back corner (her picture does not show this although she admits the ground is not level and happens to be worst at this precise location ) No one was nailing in complete darkness. A cell phone flashlight was used during the last step of this job to recheck and level every post for accuracy before the water added to concrete hardened. One man whose wife was almost 9 months pregnant and who also have a special needs child to take care of did state that he wanted to go home after this professionally dedicated and extraneously long work day, with multiple breaks including lunch and then having his dinner paid for. This one woman lacking knowledge of fence terminology could lead another to falsely believe wrong about Northern Neck Fence Co. and the dedicated men and women who helped complete this job. Know the facts and love the truth.
