Netzke Roofing has been around for a few years. Randy is very fair and willing to work with your insurance company and local material suppliers to provide a quality product that will last for years. Full disclosure, I worked there for a short time. The pictures shared are from some of the projects I worked on.

Both the local building inspector & his insurance company has told Randy Netzke to make corrections, that the engineer they hired sited. Not only has those corrects not been made, Randy's not responding to my email request's to come make those corrections. If you speak with Randy and he says he stands behind his employees work, apparently that means he has no intentions of correcting their work, No matter who tells them to correct it (based on my experience with Netzke Construction). Also notice the only positive comments you can find about Netzke construction is from a former employee in Google map reviews. If you choose to hire Netzke construction, get a very detailed scope of work written into a contract with them. Only give them 10% down, that's what most good contractor's ask for down. Fyi, creating a proper contract, knowing and following mn building code is The responsibility of the contractor and part of the terms of them being licensed in the state of Minnesota. But do varify with the mn Dept of labor and industry code division, that what he intends to do is code compliant work. ( They take calls & answer questions) Even if you're in a city or the country that hasn't adopted the code The license contractor is still required by law to follow all mn building codes in the work they do.

I hired Netzke construction to fix some code violations another contractor made in a siding job. Not only did Netzke construction not actually make the corrections he was hired to do, but the removed and altered my dormer roof without my permission, than did not replace the shingles they removed & I had to get a loan to re-shingle my entire roof through another contractor, in order to have a warrant required by loan program. So Get a very detailed contract with , warranty statement, cancellation clause, licence number, varify they have insurance. Verify they are still licence. Take before and after pictures and as they work. Be sure to have a lawyer & a building official approve it before signing or work begins. Have a building inspector approve every step & you better know code and supervise the work of employees, to void poor workmanship & code violations. This goes for any contractor you hire. If any contractor walks away with incomplete work or does anything they weren't hired to do, hire a lawyer right away. Don't Hire Any Contractor if you Cannot afford a lawyer, not even if you use a government funded home improvement loan, the government programs are just a loan program, they don't represent you & you are responsible for the loan or any legal issues that come up. Mn & those loan program's won't help you fight a bad contractor. At best they'll only take the contractors license and or fine him, either of which doesn't help you. You will not receive any money from fines the state collects. Check with B.B.B. & Mn DLI contractor license lookup to varify they have a active licence etc. Don't trust references, protect your home. notice the only positive comments on maps is from a previous employee of Netzke construction . I've attached pictures of Netzke's work & a couple to show prior to Netzke construction work, to show I'm telling you the truth. Beware of who you Hire. And remember, if the contractor alters the structural building by statute the warranty automatically goes from a 2 year warranty to a 10 year warranty. That's in a nut shell, read & understand the building code and statutes.
