  James and Scott did a really good job helping us through our construction project. They were always responsive, patient and provided us with great input along the way. They made the building process really enjoyable!

  James Mellom was great to work with as were all the people at Nelson Lumber. James helped us organize our thoughts so we could end up with plans that our builder could follow . Also he referred us to Steve Longtine who did a great job in our remodeling project. We had never done a remodeling project and to be 350 miles away from the cottage required a great deal of faith in James and Steve and they didn’t ever disappoint us . I highly recommend.

  We had a great experience working with James Mellom on the design of our cabin. From start to finish, James was highly professional and did a great job translating our wish list into a beautiful, functional cabin design. We really appreciated the ease in communication with James. He was responsive to feedback, organized, thorough and did a great job guiding us through our first homebuilding project. We continue to receive many compliments on the design of our finished cabin We have no reservations at all about strongly recommending that others work with James on their construction projects!
