  NHS repaired my home in Memphis a few years ago, and far exceeded the budget, was late with repairs, over charged me, had very poor communication, and then sued for payment and demanded another $2k in legal fees. Their lawyer came after me and forced payment with no recourse possible on my part. Buyer beware, avoid them at all costs. I ended up having to hire another contractor to clean up their work at a cost of 10s of thousands of dollars. They seemed great in the quoting process, then everything came off the rails. I've been in the RE business for over a decade, with multiple investment properties, and have never had a worse experience with a contractor, much less being sued and charged their legal fees.

  Dear Mr. Winslow, I have read your review and do not understand. You said I overcharged you, but you also said the quote process was fine. This was a very difficult situation with an insurance company not paying the total replacement cost. As far as the repairs go, I was unaware that we had a problem until it came time to get paid. As you are aware, I had to send you over to an attorney to get paid. You had the opportunity to refuse payment and go to court or suggest to the attorney that you needed additional work completed. I am very sorry you feel the way you feel. I personally believe the work was completed and done correctly. I don't understand why it took you 5 years to make negative comments. We are a very well known, established business for over 20 years service. We are highly accredited with the BBB and we are on lists with multiple large insurance carriers. Again, sorry you feel this way. I wish you would have called. Probably could have worked something out.

  I needed extensive home repairs. Lots of rotted siding on a 2 story home. They came out, gave a good quote, worked me into their schedule, came out for 2 days and it then rained like crazy 3 days - then a weekend. If you need it started and finished right now - tell them so and plan for this crazy rainy weather! Workers got here about 8:15 and worked solid all day, leaving 4 to 4:30. Very good job done. Painters spray washed the house, and painted a few days later as the repairs were being finished. And yes, more darn rain delayed them. Siding over the garage was rotting and was replaced by another crew, they got it replaced in a day and it looks better than when I bought the place 32 years ago. I am pleased, although we were delayed with weather. Quality is great, crews were friendly and did good work and were on the job all day. Quote was good, I enjoyed the whole experience and recommend them.
