  Bought new house with existing metal roof which was allegedly installed by Allen Miller - Ashe Co. Roofing. Told by owner that the roof had a 40 year warranty at time the roof was put on some 5 years prior to me purchasing it. In about 1.5 years from the time I moved in, the roof started to leak and hasn't stopped despite another roofer coming out and trying to correct the problem by replacing all screws. I tried to call Allen Miller to ask him about his roof installation and warranty but every time I called an answering machine would pick up so I left multiple messages about the problem I was having but he never called me back... go figure that one... but boy did he call me back within an hour when I called him posing to be a new customer needing a new roof. People who don't stand behind their workmanship are trash and I don't deal well with trash! A metal roof (when installed by professionals, not primates) is certainly supposed to last longer than 10 years! Also, I had multiple roofers who gave me estimates tell me that the person who installed the flashing must have been mentally challenged or on some kind of drug rendering them brain dead. I'm guessing its one of the primates that Allen Miller hired or maybe it was him who did this stellar job. Anyway, due to my experience I would NOT recommend anyone use Ashe Co. Roofing. They evidently can't install metal roofs correctly or figure out how to use the phone to call someone back and stand behind their work! Thanks to jerks like this I don't trust many roofers to put on metal roofs. I'm going with shingles because an ape could just about install shingles properly. Better odds.
