I am giving 2 stars because the end product looks good (except my chimney) and there don't appear to be any leaks. However, I was disappointed with the process. For starters the workers showed up a whole day early at 7:20 in the morning with no real warning. They spray painted the chimney flashing right on the chimney so now the brick has black spray paint on it. They also spray painted something directly on my driveway so I now have a black paint rectangle in my driveway. And although they did get all the trash in the end, they were literally throwing trash in trees and bushes while they worked. At one point my fiance went outside and one of the workers was asking him about boxes they saw in our attic and asked if we needed them? That was pretty unprofessional. They also were dropping product on my roof so hard to the point that recessed lighting actually popped out of my ceiling and they caused cracking in the plaster of my dining room ceiling and a crack in the tile grout coming down from the ceiling of one of my showers. The foreman was also trying to watch two jobs so he wasn't there to communicate with us how much plywood was being used and was late getting to us with an issue with vent fans. The workers took the fans out and covered them up without saying anything and were going to finish, leaving me with no venting in my roof, and we had to scramble to add on a ridge vent to the job at the last minute. The foreman also told us he would give us 4 free pieces of plywood as a deal since we needed so much, but then the woman on the phone gave me a price that was higher than that. And then when the work was done there was no walk through or inspection with us. They literally just left without saying anything. It took over a week to get the final invoice and then I never got any confirmation that they received my final payment. So overall I was disappointed with the lack of communication. And the slight damage and paint issues that occurred to my property. They were slightly cheaper than other quotes I received initially, but they charge almost double for plywood what other companies charge (some of which included some plywood for free), so mid shore ended up costing more than some of the others. But the shingles do look good and there are no leaks that we have found.

Hi Brittany, thank you so much for taking my call on Tuesday. I am glad we were able to address your concerns and we got the opportunity to fix the chimney flashing, again as I stated in our call a few key things....Your fiancé spoke with our Field supervisor Jacob and the crews, and He was the one who requested ridge vent since BOTH attic fans were in bad condition, this decision was made to be the most cost effective as possible. Also, about the miscommunication for cost of plywood, our Field supervisor explained we make sure the homeowner is made aware of more than 4 sheets of bad plywood, he did not offer to give you 4 free sheets and the price listed per sheet of plywood was not the amount you paid for each of the 30 sheets we replaced on your roof. As a courtesy to cut down the cost for you as much as possible we even discounted the plywood. About the boxes in the attic, since so many sheets of plywood were being replaced and ridge vent was being cut into the attic the crew member was asking if the boxes should be moved or cleaned off. Our field supervisor said that he recalled speaking with your fiancé before they left your jobsite. We always try and communicate that the job has been completed. Your house was under construction. Debris, banging and noise is an unavoidable result of removing and replacing a roof. Again, these things are listed in our contract under “Things to Expect during a roof replacement”. Unfortunately, the cracks in the drywall and loose fixtures can also be a result of a new roof. We called to let you know your final invoice was being emailed and you elected not to respond or call us to voice any of your concerns before placing this review. You nor your fiancé gave any indication of displeasure. Which is why I immediately called you upon the discovery of such review. We never want our customers to feel like they can’t come to us with questions or concerns, we are sorry you did not. Thank you for the opportunity to install your new roof, we wish you the best!

Mid-Shore did my moms roof. Excellent work!! The crew on site were very friendly and professional. Clean up was great too. Communication is wonderful with the girls in the office. Julie is very knowledgeable and helpful with all questions that my mom had. She even assisted my mom with her insurance claim. I would definitely recommend Mid-Shore Exteriors to everyone!!

Fantastic customer service, great crew, very tidy and a locally owned business! Will definitely be using their services in the future. Highly recommend. Had a full roof replacement and ridge vent installed, will also be having a full gutter replacement done complete with leaf filters. Thank you Mid-Shore Exteriors! I highly recommend this company!
