  Mid Atlantic Roofing installed the metal roof on my newly constructed home in 2008. From all appearances, the roof looked and performed great with no visible leaks. I had no reason to use the five year warranty. In fact, Mid Atlantic is still using a photo of my house in all their postcard direct marketing campaigns. Fast forward to Nov 2018 when my painter found two fascia trim boards with moisture rot that needed to be replaced before finishing the painting work. Upon further analysis, I came to discover that metal roofing parts were not properly installed to the manufacturer's specification in two complex valley locations thus causing the water penetration. I called Geraldo at Mid Atlantic Roofing to see if he repair the metal roof (at my expense) after the carpenter completed the wood repairs. Geraldo told me he take care of me and repair the metal area. After two months of calling and dealing with false promises, I finally decided to hire another reputable roofing contractor to finish my metal roof. The job was done in two days and the cost was over $5000. As in most service businesses, the trust and value of a truly professional company comes long after the job is done. Mid Atlantic failed in this opportunity to keep me as a lifetime customer. THIS REVIEW NEEDS A POST SCRIPT....Geraldo finally called me back some 30 days after the job done citing voicemail issues. He kindly offered to partially reimburse me for my out of pocket cost to fix my roof, as he felt accountable for the initial installation. I found this to be most admirable in the fact that he wanted to stand by his work.

  We recently had a roof repair job where we quoted multiple companies. Gerardo and his crew did a great job! They were reasonable in their quote and the job was done for exactly what they quoted me.
