  I like how convenient and close to home metal warehouse is and the service. The reason I’m rating them with one star is because on one of my last orders someone made an unauthorized charge to my credit card and even though I talk to them about 4 or 5 times about it almost a month ego, nothing was ever done. I was told they were going to check on it but never did.

  “ Metal Warehouse Inc. is here to supply all your metal building, metal roofing, trim and so much more.” False. I called today asking about 2 different metals and neither are stocked apparently . I wasn’t even offered to fill out a special order request of any sort or some other option on getting those metal items. I have come out here before in order to get a special thread of all thread and they were helpful but this experience was lackadaisical at best. Hopefully the next time I have to call around for supplies they’ll be able to help.

  Quoted me $5.40 per foot on the phone for 3x3 11ga tubing, then charged me $7.19 per foot when I arrived 30 minutes later. When I realized it as I was leaving and went back in, they basically said "Sorry bud, that's our price" 3 of the last 5 visits, I've been told on the phone that they had the specific metal I needed, in stock. When I arrived shortly after, they couldn't find any. J&I Mfg. is a bit further than I want to drive, but they're a LOT cheaper and when they give me a price and say they have it, I can count on it.

  We do apologize for this inconvenience, as we explained while you were in our store, the price difference is because of time of arrival on our metal. Right now our 3"x3" 11GA 20' are $5.40 per foot, where as the 24' pieces are $7.19 per foot. This is because we ordered the 20' pieces a few months before the 24', and with the cost of steel rising almost every week this causes some items to have different per foot prices on different lengths. We are sorry for the confusion that went on and we will work on communicating this better next time.
