  Our patio at the end is absolutely stunning. I am always nervous about home improvements and having to trust various contractors that over promise and under delivery. Most of that fear comes from hearing horror stories not any experiences of my own. I believe what sold me on going with MD Customs and Constructions was before the project even begin I had tons of questions and the project manager always answered my call and questions. Also, he would stop by our residence once or twice a week to check on the project or to provide us with next steps in the project. The workers where always on time and ready to work when they arrived on site. The Yard was always picked up clean when they left for the day, no equipment or tools laying around for the next days work. We ran into a snag during the project and my fears of the worst outcome felt to be coming true. But no that was not the case, the company made significant corrections to make things right and they followed through. It really was a smooth process and that’s because of the open communication this company overall displayed. I would say if you have any projects big or small give MD Custom & Construction a chance to answer that call. As you see from the pictures our project was a 20X24 detached screened patio.

  MD Custom turned my downstairs half bath into a full and renovated the upstairs bathroom. They also installed a pocket door leading from the master bedroom to the upstairs bath. Fit and finish on both jobs was impeccable, and I'm picky about things like that. See the photos. The house is an old farmhouse, and provided a lot of challenges, especially the downstairs renovation. But, the team was in constant communication about it and worked hard to get things done. They also advised on materials, paint color, grout color, etc. Steven at the office was fun to work with picking out the materials. Base materials are of good quality...they don't steer you to the cheap stuff. I decided to change some tile and grout at the 11th hour, and they had no issue with it and reacted quickly. There were also some water temp issues during construction. The team worked with me to resolve and communicated that they would take full responsibility if the issues were related to the job. One turned out to be a faulty valve in the downstairs shower, that was quickly replaced (on the weekend!). The other issue was on us...check valve on the furnace gone bad. You should make sure you work out the details of your expectations for work to be done before accepting the proposal, to include things like extra light fixtures, dimming switches, etc. Overall, good price and great results. Jeremy, who was at our house for 60 days doing the work, is really good at what he does. **Update - almost a year later, a small leak developed with the shower fixture upstairs, which resulted in some water damage to the ceiling. I sent the owner an email on a Saturday AM. He responded in 5 minutes, and had everything fixed, patched and painted by the end of the week. Great company.

  Mike’s crew did excellent work! They installed screens on my covered porch and hung my daybed swing. I am a very happy customer and will be using them again for future projects!
