  Bought a 2020 car in June of 2019 & financed in to have a sunroof added because I was assured that Maxey did outstanding work. That was installed in Aug of 2019. One beautiful fall day in 2020, I had taken a Friday off and took the car to the car wash & water poured in on my neck. Took the car straight to Maxey and they discovered the sunroof hadn’t closed properly because of a broken part. The sunroof shade now had water stains on it. They ordered the part & I dropped the car off on a Thursday night to have the part installed the next day. Called that afternoon & was told it would be ready on Monday. I said nobody told me it would take more than a day & I needed my car because my husband was going to be out of town on Saturday so he said he’d push them to get it finished. Picked it up & the car smelled terrible, like cigarettes & chemicals. They had laid my back seats down & didn’t bother to put them back up. Everything on the back seat & in the hatch was all messed up. Next day I happened to look up as I was loading groceries & the whole headliner was covered in water stains from front to back, there was a spot sagging and there were black fingerprints everywhere. The dash was covered in a dust and also white splatter spots everywhere. I actually cried when I saw it. Called on Monday & they said they’d replace the headliner. Took it in to have that done & left it a few days. When I picked it up, as soon as I got in & looked up, I saw they hadn’t redone the sliding sunroof shade. Walked back inside & told them & the young guy told Mr Maxey he didn’t know they were supposed to re-cover that too. Mr Maxey said of course, if it was stained, you need to redo it. Assured me that could be done in a day. Dropped it off this Thursday night to be done yesterday. Picked it up last night after-hours and when I got in, it reeked of cigarette smoke and there was 1/2 a cigarette laying beside my gearshift!! There are still a few black fingerprints on the edge of the sunroof shade and in one spot on the headliner. The car seat covers we’re all messed up too. I’m so very disappointed in the job they did, especially hearing about how great they were. I will never recommend them and I will be telling my dealership about them & showing them their work too.

  I have never had seats covered before because I had seen some very bad work. Maxey did an absolutely amazing job. Everything is tight, no wrinkles, seams are straight. I am very impressed. Workers were very professional and courteous. All in all it was a top notch job by a top notch company.
