Masters Roofing did an awesome job replacing the roof on our home, storage unit and detached garage. Our salesman, Robert Floyd was very friendly. He provided a quote and explained to us how the installation process worked from beginning to end. Masters roofing also worked diligently with our insurance company due to the fact that this was storm damage roof replacement. The team arrived on time and worked from dawn to dusk. My husband and I were very pleased with the finished product. Our roof is now the best-looking roof in our neighborhood. I would recommend Masters Roofing for roof installation.

From the beginning to end, Masters Roofing was there. Ed Hill help me through the claim process with my insurance company. Masters Roofing came out and inspected my roof from wind damage. Did a virtual inspection with my insurance company and my claim was approved within an hour. Ed explained the different in the shingles. I also went to their showroom to see the shingles on display. The work was done on the day selected. They found roof damage and repaired all of it. My roof was installed in one day. My yard, driveway and patio was swept for nails. Ed came out and swept it again to make sure we didn’t get a flat tire. Overall experience was excellent. My roof looks great.

I was so excited to get my new roof installed by Master Roofing. Our rep was Ed, on the phone he was so informative & had a quick response. BUT that was short lived, our roof was a one day job. Workers came out did the work….this is where it gets crazy; on the back end of our home for some reason they decided to put another type of roofing than the front without consulting with myself or my husband. At first Ed said the guys ran out of material and decided to put commercial roofing on our home, which looking like a big white box on top of our all brown roof. It was a huge eye sore! When my husband & I disapproved Ed said he and the field manager decided instead of doing the entire roof in residential roofing they wanted to “up grade” us… we let him know that’s not what we asked for give us what we ordered, Ed then said he no longer wants to talk about this and walked away from us. We overheard the manager speaking poorly about us because we were checking on the roofing job, they weren’t expecting my husband to get on the roof and notice the plastic they put on the rood not nailed down properly, left nails in our yard and drive-way. Eventually they came back to correctly finish the job. Now if you want a nice roof with poor communication, disrespect and maybe get something you didn’t request…..Call Master Roofing!

The homeowner states "This is where it gets crazy"? We have been in business for a long time, over 10,000 roofs in Memphis alone, and try to be as attentive and responsive to every single customer's feedback as we possibly can. What bothers me on occasion is the lack of understanding regarding flat roofs and materials needed for these applications and the liability (to homeowner and contractor) associated with installing the wrong type of roofing for a particular application. This project had a small shed that was attached to the home (see homeowner photos) added after the home was built and had less than a 1 degree pitch. If you are reading this review we would like to help people understand the difference between materials they are not familiar with and the reasons these materials are installed. The "white plastic" that the homeowner is referring to is called TPO (A rubber membrane) and it is not only specifically designed for flat roofs because of its life expectancy and waterproofing capabilities but it is also a much more expensive installation than shingles. A shingle roof should not be installed on a roof with a slope of 2:12 or less, this shed was less than 1. A TPO roof cost's significantly more for the contractor to install and is more time consuming than a shingle roof. Please understand that our company cuts ZERO corners and will always go above and beyond for our customers and their homes. If we install shingles on a low slope roof and it leaks in 6 months because it was not the correct installation who is liable, we are. A 2 star review for doing the correct thing and spending more time and money on this home to do the work correctly is very frustrating for us. I do not normally vent my frustrations on this forum and we always encourage criticism so we can become a better company but this is an exception because we actually went above and beyond to give this customer a better product at no additional cost and because they do not understand the product or the requirements/reasons for installing it they leave a terrible review and bad mouth our company.
