  We do not recommend Malarkey Roofing Products. There was a significant variation in color from the installed product and the marketing materials provided. Malarkey Roofing Products appeared to be more concerned with absolving themselves of any responsibility than providing an acceptable resolution to this issue. The Roofing installation company we hired also agreed that the colors of the installed shingles were quite different than the Marketing Materials that were provided. He did try to help us get some acceptable resolution, but Malarkey Roofing Products maintained their position and was completely inflexible. We understand that there are variations in production lots; however, the installed shingles are not within a normal tolerance. Visually, they are a completely different tone from the marketing brochure and samples (brochure looks like a rich dark brown, whereas the installed shingles are in a medium-to-light Gray family). Be very cautious when doing business that uses Malarky Roofing products.

  We've been using Malarkey products for many years. The product has been amazing! Our local Rep, Cody, has always been respectful and very responsive. We are happy to be partnered with Malarkey and all of our clients can rest assured that this product will protect their biggest investment for decades. Thank you Malarkey!

  I recently had my new roof installed and while I love the roof, the crew that did the installation (Broussard Homes) ruined my eaves. My contract stated that nails will appear through the eaves. There was never any mention to me directly that I would have to repaint the eaves once the roof was installed. All the contract stated was that Broussard Homes was not responsible for any damage. The foreman of the job never appeared on my property and I was never offered a final walkthrough at the end of the project. If I had been given that opportunity, I never would have signed off on the final project. When I called Broussard Homes, and when speaking with the owner, Phil, I was instructed that having Lindsay, the director of roofing, come to my home to inspect the work was a waste of time. Great customer service skills, Phil. NOT!! At the time Lindsay was at my home, she agreed to a small reduction in price but when she went back to the office, it was decided that NO discount would be given. They were apparently covered by the contract. I strongly recommend that if you have a new Malarkey roof installed, DO NOT USE BROUSSARD HOMES AS THE INSTALLER. They are in the business of lining their own pockets with the customers' money and refuse to be reasonable when challenged by the quality of their work. I am truly embarrassed for Broussard Homes and their lack of quality and craftsmanship. If I had known this would have been the outcome, I don't know if I would have had a Malarkey roof installed because of the contractor they use. I will NEVER do business with Broussard Homes again.
