Justin our roof inspector and his team were amazing thorough and got the job done in one day! They cleaned up after the job and the roof looks fantastic. They got our deductible taken care of and worked with the insurance to get the approval.  Each out to them and ask for Justin for a new roof!

Maez did an excellent job on my metal roof. They took off the old shingles and installed new pro panel in just 3 days. Justin the project manager helped me the entire way. Highly recommend Maez!

Update July 22- After sending Maez the test results with over 20,000 count of Penicillium Mold (a fast growing mold) in the foyer (outdoor count was 720) and the inspection report, which showed continued moisture levels in the ceilings, from the mold remediation company, Josh Maez called and said that they are not responsible for the mold.

Update July 1- Maez sent someone to do the interior repairs. We found significant mold and continued moisture in the areas where the leaking occurred. Their interior guy opened up the ceiling to air out. This released mold spores throughout my home. My entire home smelled of intense mold. I called him and asked him to come back to clean the mold the next day and he did. I had been out of town for a couple of weeks. When I returned, there was a strong mold smell in my bedroom which had leaked. I called and talked to Josh, letting him know that I had the areas tested for mold and would have the results back hopefully Friday. Josh said that they are not responsible for the mold and would not pay for mold experts to take care of the problem. Of course the mold would not have been a problem if Maez would have addressed the leaking problem right away back in April when it occurred. Obviously, since there is still moisture in my ceiling cavities from the leaking, the mold that has grown in the cavities was caused by the leaking. I am hoping that the company will come around and take responsibility so that this nightmare does not have to turn into a legal battle.

Update June 10- I am now relieved to have a completed roof that passed inspection nearly 2 months later. Maez installed another roof system with taper over the first one. It was a battle every step of the way. Now, I am waiting for the interior damage to be repaired, as per the warranty.

I just bought a house that needed the roof replaced before closing. I chose Maez Construction because they were able to put in a taper system.

Maez Construction put a TPO roof on my house. It was in the paperwork to put in a taper system:
"Taper System
Furnish and install 1/2 inch of fanfold underlayment with taper to canales for proper drainage."
They skipped that part of the job. When it rained Wednesday, April 28th, pooling occurred all over the roof up to 3" deep. One of which was around the foyer skylight where the roof leaked. The leaking, which started around the foyer skylight, spread to my bedroom and the kitchen. Maez Construction appears to be avoiding responsibility.

The leaking started in the afternoon. I called Maez and left a message about the emergency situation. Levi texted back that he let Josh know and that he would find out what the plan of action is. Someone came and went up on the roof and splashed a lot of water off. After he left, I went into my bedroom and saw that it was also leaking in there. I called and left a message about the situation and sent a text with pictures. He did not respond. The leaking slowed down later that night, but continued to leak until late Thursday afternoon.

After a couple of days of phone tag with the office, Vera asked me wrote a report to pass on to Josh. I told her that we needed to schedule a reroofing job asap and that I wanted Josh to call me. She said that she would pass the info onto Josh, but seemed to have no confidence that Josh would call. I told her that I expect a call from him to show that he is taking responsibility.

I texted Levi on Friday asking him to call me after 2:00 and sent more pictures of the damage. He texted back and said that they have an interior guy that will get those things squared away and that he would have Josh and/or Jenelle get that scheduled. I replied that we needed to get the reroofing job done first and asap to prevent more damage in case it rains again.  He did not respond.

They sent the foreman out again Friday afternoon with caulking. There was still too much water on the roof to caulk anything. I don't know if they think that all they have to do is caulk. The skylight is lower than the canales and the roof failed inspection.

My sales person Justin help me from start to finish. He was very patient with me throughout the entire process. I was debating about whether to get a roof replacement, partial roof replacement, or none at all. I was calling Justin back-and-forth for several months and he was always very accommodating, helpful, patient and never pushy. He was very honest with me about my roof condition and giving me suggestions. We tried to go through insurance, but my insurance company was not willing to cover it. Maez construction gave me a very reasonable price. They even honored their price quote from the beginning of our process together. I priced through 3 other roofing companies besides Maez and they were by far the best price for the product. Installation day went very smoothly. They came when expected and worked the entire day. Justin even checked in with me on both days to see how things were going. The crew came the second day to complete the project and cleaned up their workspace. Even after day one they cleaned up as well before they left. They did a major cleanup after the second day. There was no mess left and the roof looks fantastic! Justin came by a couple days later to examine the roof and to give me the warranty. Very professional from start to finish.

Justin was very helpful in coordinating the project. He called our insurance company for us (in front of us with our permission, of course; he has a better idea of what to say than I do!) to help us file our claim. Although their schedule was pretty full, we did not need to rush, as we did not have any leaks in the roof. It took the roofers one day to finish the project, and they were all very clean and efficient with it!

I love our new roof! I think the color was perfect, and the work came out great!

Maez Construction did a fantastic job on my home.  Justin the roof inspector found hail damage and my insurance company covered the entire roof with no cost to me.
The roofers were polite and professional, completing the instillation in a timely manner.
They also cleaned up all the debris prior to leaving.
