  I am a Senior Citizen and if you ever want to be treated with honesty on a project, consider calling M&T Construction and Painting. I am so grateful for their completion of damages to my home. I also want to thank Matthew for his patience with my persistent questioning. My sister finally texted me to "get out of the way and let the contractors do their job." I did and it couldn't have worked out better. The completed project looks so great that I can hardly believe my eyes. Thanks to the entire M&T crew who were courteous and professional in their dealings with me. Again, my home looks brand new as a result of M&T Construction and Painting. S. West

  I highly recommend this company to everyone I know, when they're looking to upgrade their homes or their personal workplace. M&T they are the ones to call! Great quality work!

  I would not hire this company to water my house plants. My family contracted them to do extensive repairs on a vacation home in Dauphin Island. A promised three month job turned into eleven months. Excuses, and more excuses. They complained about not being paid when they had not submitted invoices. They did not return my calls asking for updates. When working inside during the summer, they turned A/C down to 60 degrees and left it there when they left (cost us in electricity). Their rubbish dumpster left a scarred place in the yard. They claimed to be waiting for a French door for a replacement, but what they were replacing wasn't even a door. They framed and hung a new doorway on the interior, but the door doesn't latch properly. The punched a hole in the new ceiling they had just hung. They patched the hole, but failed to paint the ceiling afterward. And, they removed all the landline telephone jacks from the house without authorization. This meant that we lost our DSL connection (the only thing we could get on Dauphin Island) and had to pay Centurylink $80 to reconnect us. Finally, we noticed a few days ago that the new cabinets they put in under the counter are not plumb, and the drawers won't close because of it. Of course, the big thing is that our family was unable to occupy the house during the summer, which is the best time for being there. Glad we weren't trying to rent it out! They did a good and prompt job of re-roofing the house and tearing out the damage, but the build-back was long and sub-par. "Disappointing" does not come close to describing this company.
