I can't even explain how awesome this company is. I had a sudden roof leak that became a torrential downpour in my kitchen from the 2nd floor. I called them and they rushed over. They were so compassionate and sensitive to our situation. They scheduled our repair and showed upas promised. The crew that worked on our roof were respectful and professional, a class act.  The owner called to check in with me and to explain the process. My friend referred them to me because she had a wonderful experience with them previously. I highly recommend them. My garage is leaking and I started with roofing companies. Alex is very honest, courteous and professional. He suggested me to first find a professional painting company to water proof my house because he doesn’t believe my roof has an issue. He arrived earlier than his appointment time, called in advanced to let me know he is approaching. He also informed me the cost and procedure he will do on a flood testing in case the painting company can’t solve my problem. It’s very rare to find an honest company who is so nice from the beginning. They don’t want to make money by selling the job that is not required. If my roof does have an issue I will definitely hire them.

I contacted Lyons Roofing for an estimate to repair what I thought was a roof leak.  My advisor, Mike, suspected the leak was associated with open holes left in the wall when original shutters were replaced with accordion shutters.  He confirmed his suspicion by climbing on the roof with a hose and reproducing the leak.  Mike accepted no payment for identifying the source of my leak, but he and Lyons Roofing will get my business when I have to repair or replace my 20-year old roof in the future.

I spoke with Jackie on the phone, she was so prompt and helpful! Prices were great compared to some other companies I looked into in the area. Couldn't be happier. Service was great, workers were friendly. Honestly, such a refreshing experience. Roof problems can leave you really stressed so I was happy to find a company that took care of everything.

The owner Jack Lyons, is absolutely wonderful!  He has gone above and beyond to help me take care of my 11 year old roof, with leaks, and came back right away, whenever I call.  His staff, especially Jackie his receptionist  is just Beautiful, as kind as can be.  All the guys that have helped me are so professional, and on the ball, hard working and kind as well.

Terrible experience. This company is EXTREMELY unprofessional and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. We had a complete re-roof done on our home in 2011, 6 short years ago by Lyons Roofing; the average life span of a new roof is 20-30 years and after 6, we are already have a roof leak.  Lyons roofing offers a 10 year warranty for all re-roofing services that they do; therefore, we thought we would be covered under warranty to have our roof repaired.  Alex came out to "inspect" our leak, he sprayed water for 30 minutes over the area of the roof that had been leaking and no water was coming through. His first response was "it is definitely not the roof" he stated that he had put in the flashing so he is positive that the roof is not the reason for water penetration into our home. Then he proceeded to come up with every and any excuse as to why Lyons roofing cannot repair our leak: "we have been abusing our roof with chlorine which has caused erosion" so now it's our fault that we have a roof leak? But wait Alex? I thought it DEFINITELY wasn't the roof that was the problem?; then he went on to say that the reason that Lyons cannot repair the leak is because we were not the owners of the home at the time the re-roof was done, he stated "why should we repair your roof when you haven't spent a penny with our company".  We also spoke with the owner Jack Lyons who yelled and screamed like a little girl and then hung up the phone on us! Can you say HORRENDOUS customer service?! All I can say is that I am scared for hurricane season in south Florida, as the work they did on our roof was far from quality; it only took 6 years for a leak to occur after they replaced our roof.  I am scared to see the future of our home because of Lyons roofing poor quality work.

We do apologize if you feel as if you were treated unfairly. We did complete a re-roof in January of 2011 with a 10-year warranty. We received a call from you on 5/3/17 regarding a leak in the kitchen. As always, we rushed the file to the priority list, since it is possible warranty work, and came out the next day. Rather than our estimator writing an estimate for a water leak test, he went ahead and water tested the area of concern right on site (he noted roof, wall, and windows) for 30 minutes and found no water (all free of charge). He noted that he explained that cutting open the ceiling to see what is going on is what was recommended. He noted that he would bring this back to the owner, and even though it is no longer under warranty due to change of homeowner he would try to help with pricing and, again, wanted to bring it to the owner for further suggestions since it was indeed our Re-roof.
By the time our estimator was back to the office a call was made to our office with threat of legal use.
Maintenance after the roof is put on is necessary to maintain the roof system. We do not transfer warranties unless it is brought to our attention and validated with the new homeowner. Cleaning the roof system with bleach, for example, (as evident on this roof) can cause the system to prematurely fail.
When warranties are transferred to homeowner to homeowner, a signed agreement on how the roof is to be maintained, is set in place so situations like these do not happen.
We really do value our customers and hope that you can understand from a business perspective that we cannot warrant our re-roofs when the home has changed owner ship, (in this case twice).

I bought a house with some minor roofing discrepancies but also something that I needed to get done right away due to the fact I did not want additional problems arising down the road. A gentleman named Alex came to give me an estimate,  and explained everything in detail about what he found on the roof and what they would do to fix it. I accepted the proposal, they called me 4 days later to schedule me for the following day, and Lyons came to complete the repairs while I was at work and I simply called in to make payment. It was a very stress free process from start to finish, not to mention the price was extremely reasonable and that helped my case quite a bit! all in all, I would absolutely recommend Lyons roofing! Very professional service.
