  I would not use Lowes for any type of contractor bids. Or any type of home improvements although their products are awesome. They are great for DIY projects. I recently got a bid for new windows and siding and Lowes is gouging on their prices as well as refused to break down the bid to an itemized bid showing the break down of cost of materials and labor, so I could compare bids side by side. Shop around there are contractors that will come out to the basin to do work the fuel surcharges they charge are way less than any Lowes bid you may get. Lowes just bid me 17,000 and change for 9 windows and 36,000 for new siding and gutter’s. Highway robbery!

  Had a great experience this evening at the Vernal Lowes. We needed over 300 2x4's as well as several other boards and items. Debbie at the register in the lumber yard and Marlene the manager (hope I'm getting names correct) were so kind and helpful getting us everything we needed. We were also helped by Damien and Randy with loading everything into our trailer which took a good amount of time. The extra mile was how kind and fun they all were with my four year old who thought it was the most exciting night ever! Helpful, happy employees really make or break an experience that could be stressful.

  Lowe's of Vernal is nice. They offer things that most stores do not. They are suffering currently somewhat, due to supply chain issues. I am currently improvising a tile project due to a shortage of Diamond Back. (Trying another product) Trying DenseShield. This is for a jetted tub surround, without a shower, so it's not exposed to standing water. I hope it turns out. The reviews are good. I rely upon my Lowe's store a great deal because I am a serial remodelor.
