1.So far 2 of the wire shelves in my closet fell off the wall, . The second time was at 4am and almost gave me a heart attack! When fixing it I discovered the installer only uses drywall anchors to support the shelves. Not 1 screw into a stud! These guys are always looking for cheaper subcontractors instead of good subcontractors. Drywall anchors for shelving, who does that!?!? If a small child was under that shelf they would have been seriously hurt. SMH 2.My well water turned muddy red every time it rained. The well installer said this was normal! Some professional. After paying for several water test to prove it was a faulty well, I had to figure it out for him! The well installer failed to glue the top piece of well casing so the muddy water was leaking in. I had e coli and coli form bacteria in my water for 3 months because Liberty found another cheap sub! And he does ALL of their wells, hope he didn't forget to glue yours! To make it even worse I rented a house from them in the Panorama neighborhood while mine was being built. The well had the same problem! Coincidence? Nope, just cheap installer. We delt with that for 2 months. I later found out many houses in that neighborhood had well issues. I wonder why??? 3. First the siding installer nailed 5 nails into my main plumbing waste line. I discovered this when a large water spot would not go away on my foundation. After cutting open the wall from floor to ceiling and days of people coming and going to fix it they finally got it right Then I found the siding installer over nailed my siding. How did I find out? Roughly half of my siding buckled the first summer! They sent him back to fix it. While fixing it he discovered the last installer installed the j channel improperly and for about 8 months water had been leaking behind the siding. The plywood on the side of my house was bowed in and out 2" in some spots. They sent him back again. My question is why not get a sub who does it correctly the First TIME! Because all they care about is cheaper, not good, not better , not quality-Just cheaper. 4. Drywall installer uses the least amount of mud possible to speed up install and cut cost. Result is nail pops and cracks in many location. 12 nail heads in my master bath ceiling alone! and 4' crack in the dining room within the first year. 5. The painter sprayed right over top of dust and trash on my base trim in several locations. Not to mention the paint sprayed on the wall is like dust. Nothing is rolled unless they come back to do touch up and that makes those area's stand out even more. Once again anything to save a buck. 6. The site guys doing the final grade broke the cap on my septic tank. Not hard to do when when the septic tank is just inches in the ground. They decided instead of buying a new one, for about $6 and installing it, they just took a piece of an old plastic liberty real estate sign, placed it over the hole and piled 2" of dirt over it! I discovered it while picking the trash and rocks out of my yard. Who does stuff like that! Liberty will send someone to fix all the mistakes their cheaper subs make. I would have preferred they just did it correctly the first time. They are the cheapest builder around and now I see why.
