  If I could give a negative star, I would. We hired Larry Wallace over 5 yrs ago. It was a NIGHTMARE, to say the very least. He took a 6 week job and stretched it out to 9 months. Shoddy work that had to be redone. The footings on our screened in porch did not pass county inspection the first time. He would not answer phone calls, not show up for days/weeks without any excuse. I can NOT believe he is still in business! I called the state to report him. He finished the job but left a huge hole in our metal roof, of which I had to hire another roofing contractor to finish and pay $1800. We did not pay him the add'l amt supposedly due in the amt of $2000. He threatened me and said he would burn out house down! We got a security system after that. It was 9 months constant worry and frustration that he would not finish the job and run off with our money. He is not a man of his word. Please do NOT use him or you will be sorry.

  We hired this company in March to do roofing repairs (shingles). The work crew was polite and kept a neat work area. They worked continually to finish the job within 4 days. Mr. Larry demonstrated great communication returning phone calls or text promptly. A week after the job was completed I received a follow up call from Mr. Larry asking if we were satisfied with the results. We have not had any issues thus far. I have already recommended this company to others.

  Repeatedly misreprested when he would be at my home to work on the items contracted. There was only one occasion that he showed up for two days straight. I told him directly that he needed to improve his communication skills (keeping clients apprised of when he will be working on the contracted job). He acknowledged that I was correct, but never changed. Work was substandard. He had never performed much of the work that he contracted. Instead of using his own tools, he used mine (ladders, socket wrenches, screw drivers). I had to assist with figuring out how to do a substantial portion of the contracted work Prior to completing the contracted work, I left him a VM message telling him not to return. Based on his representation that he would finish on a particular day, I paid him the remainder owed according to the contract. He did not finish that day, but he cashed my check anyway. Would not recommend this contractor for any type of work.
