I called for a bid and Kaden returned my call the following day. He was receptive to our needs and desires and committed to creating an initial quote. Though we've yet to receive a bid (we understand they are busy and did not rush LCC along) I was impressed that someone called back pretty quickly and that they were willing to listen to us as potentials customers. A business that expects to survive and thrive needs to cater to their customer base. Making contact, without delay means something, especially to potential customers who are about to invest in both their property and the roofing contractor who returns their calls and is awarded the contract. Lake City certainly makes you feel like you and your business matter to them. Though I can not speak to affordability, workmanship, follow-up etc. Lake City is certainly good at contacting and listening to potential clients. Give them a call and see for yourself. Update: my initial conversation with LCR occurred on March 3, today is 3/17 (Happy Paddy's Day) and I have yet to hear from them. Wait and see what develops...

I did a verbal, over the phone contract, to get my roof repaired in late July. Knowing every roofer is extremely busy I patiently waited and just got it done in Nov and it was done in fine fashion. The labor guys were very polite and talked to me about the fix that took two days. During the time I contacted Lake City and had the work completed I never lost contact with the scheduler. After reading many negative reviews of rudeness, not being responsive, chasing proposals I can see where some have grown displeased with Lake City. I considered it takes two to create that sort of business experience. This company, as are all others in the building trades are performing in a boom economy. They are subject to delays, weather, cancellation and labor/material availability and a crushing amount of scheduled of work . They hands down performed to get my place secured for winter and I look forward to getting a new roof by them in the Spring. I took them at their word to be patient and they would get to me - they did. It is possible that there are bad days a contractor can have but a client can make those days better or worse. I chose to stay clam and work with them.
