The Rocky Mountain Fall hurricane of 2020 took off a 6 by 8 patch of shingles off the gable of my roof. Two contactors bid complete roof replacements between $15-25k. Based on their inspections having the roof done correctly, since it was previously a rental might have been the best thing to do. I couldn't afford it, and neither one could get the same shingles or would do a repair. The Kimball roofer did the job in less than an hour and for half of what my insurance company wanted for a deductible to have their contractor to do the job. When I decide to do the roof right, Kimball is first on the list.

Is there less than a 1 star rating? That's what kimball roofing should get. Several years ago they "fixed" a problem I was having. For weeks and weeks after their shotty work shingles kept falling off my roof randomly with no wind or nothing to knock them off. I called on the first 5-10 or so and they came out to fix them. After that they refused to come fix them and got a real bad attitude about me calling. Since then I've had nothing but roof issues. I tried back then to report them to the BBB but if you've ever tired that you know its a joke. So I thought google review would be much better.

The owner is unethical. Without informing me He applied for a building permit that included work that was not contracted for without informing me. Then he had his crew start the work. That night he informed me that he needed a change order signed for $4000 or he would pull his crew off the job, keep the 50% downpayment I had made, leave my roof partially completed and leave the the roofing materials in my driveway until I signed the revised contract and agreed to pay him what he demanded. I insisted on having engineering done to verify that the change he recommended was appropriate only to confirm that his proposed changes were inadequate leading him to demand that he be paid another $2300. And this was after he started the job 2 1/2 months after his company told me it would be started. The men that actually did the work were reasonable and worked hard. The owner should be put out of business!
