  Choosing K & L Contractors was one of the largest and most expensive mistakes that I ever made. From the beginning there were issues that Ken took no responsibilty for. Profit was their highest priority. The foreman for the project was non-existent and incompetent. The final project was totally outside the budget and timeline. I would never suggest or use them again.

  Working with Ken Hawkins at K & L Contractors as the General Contractor was like looking in the mirror....he gave me back what I gave him. I hear horror stories from friends who had a bad experience with their contractor...and after listening to the friend for a few minutes...it became evident the problem was not the contractor.... It was a bad client. For me, Ken always did what he said he would do. If he did not know the answer to my question, he quickly got me an answer. When there were hiccups, he helped us get through it. In this day and culture, Ken was a rare find. I would work with him again anytime. Eddie Sanford

  Ken Hawkins is a stand up builder who always puts out a high quality product. Over the years Ken has used our company, Murphy's Bobcat, Inc., for several jobs. He is a very fair, honest, and thorough businessman that holds all of his sub-contractors to a high standard. He is very easy to work with and is very understanding when it comes to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, delays, etc. We at Murphy's Bobcat, Inc highly recommend Ken and Lori and K&L Contractors.
