The salesperson for whom I will identify only as DH (he knows who he is), immediately started pitching me on why I should choose them over their competitors, and gave a tipical canned sales pitch for windows with no understanding or perception of my problem and need. This approach made clear his intention of making the sale, and getting what he wanted, and not what I needed. In short - he was pretty self-oriented, and talked so much he forgot to listen. He seemed to lack genuine empathy in understanding what I needed and wanted. He seemed to have a sense of entitlement for being expert for all the years he has been selling windows. He made grandiose statements like, "We've been installing windows for over 60 years, but no installer has been with the company for 60 years." Note: K&H Home Solutions uses sub-contractors - not employees of the company. DH avoided discussing the caveats in life-time warranties - what's not covered! He consistently and repeatedly focused on the window features, and his extensive experience in selling windows. He came across as a hard closer rather than a facilitator helping me solve a problem. He was deficient in his ability to explain the window features in terms of benefits to me long term. In short, he personified the slimy and manipulative stigma of some car salesman. DH misled me with regard to 'no-down' payment in signing the contract for the windows. Then came back and wanted an upfront downpayment. From the beginning, we had communication issues for which he blamed me for not understanding. He screwed up the contract by adding triple-pane windows instead of double pane windows, and then wanted me to sign a change order to cover his screwup. Caveat - Beware if you deal with a salesperson with DH initials. INSTALLER - Sergio did a good job installing windows in a house that was built in the 1900s, and presented him with some unique challenges. Clean up was decent, but we had to go back in with a vacuum with a hippa filter and vacuumed up a considerable amount of wood dust from the carpet beneath the windows. I would strongly recommend Sergio as your installer if you decide to have windows installed by K&H Home Solutions. The lag time between ordering windows and installation was a couple of months. Be prepared for a VERY LONG wait if you are planning on installing new windows that are not manufactured in Colorado. Signed: Dr. Gerald Calvin 4/16/22

We had our Gables on the roof, eves, facade and gutters done by K&H. Although the finished product looks nice, buyer beware. First off, there was no Quality assurance inspection done by the company before they did a final walk with me and I caught them by surprise (because I had to use my own ladder) that I wanted to get on the roof to look at it with them because I could clearly see parts of metal that were not sitting properly from the ground. It was fixed the next day but only because I brought it to their attention. They still wanted me to pay but they realized they did not have the invoice with them. The next day when he came back to walk with me again (he was prepared with his own ladder this time) but wanted me to fill out my customer satisfaction survey and pay the final bill, which I did, but 2 days later I received an additional charge of $700.00 stating that they had to use additional wood for the project. This was never brought up by the fellow that walked with me twice (I might add that he was in fact the person overseeing the project, so he was perfectly aware of the situation), I find it very off that they wait until after the fact that any of this was brought up leaving me to argue all of this over the phone. I also had to install my own porch light when it was all done because they did not do it and I wanted light on my front door at night. They also did not reinstall my electrical outlets until I made a big issue out of it with Scott on the phone. Again, the finished product eventually ended up nice but the footwork I had to put in to get it that way seems extensive. I ended up having to pay the $700 because I signed a contract that says they can uncover things as they go that may need to be fixed. that $700 was for 4 pieces of wood which I happen to know they did not use all of because I saw the very large scraps in my driveway. Be aware of what you sign when signing up for the install, be alert of what is going on, don't be afraid to ask questions. I will not do business with this company again unless they attempt to make things right and I will share my opinion to all.

This customer hired K&H to replace the siding on 3 gables as well as all the soffit, facia & gutters. The gables had old style vents that were built into that siding which had to be changed. In order to make that change we needed to install sheathing in the gables underneath the new siding to bring all that wood flush, with a gable vent unit installed to replace the old vents. When looking at a siding job we cannot always identify whether sheathing will be necessary until we remove the old siding. That is why we price items such as sheathing on the contract as contingent items instead of pricing them into the contract price since we don’t want to charge the customer for sheathing unless we need it. As to what he describes as “large scraps of wood in his driveway”, you always have excess waste & have to factor that into calculating the amount of materials you need. The cost of wood products has increased dramatically in recent months so the price of the additional sheathing reflected that increase. Performing a walk around a job is normal as sometimes things are missed & that is an opportunity to note such items so we can get them fixed. I’m glad he had the opportunity to point them out and sorry they weren’t addressed before the walk around inspection. The electrical box was, as we understand it, removed by the customer which is why we didn’t initially reinstall it but we did get a new one & installed it when we took care of the punch list. Finally, we did take care of all his issues in a timely manner so I am surprised at the severity of this review.

We recently had our home siding replaced by K&H. We would rate the entire experience SIX stars. Starting with Todd, who is a true gentleman, he gave us a full explanation of the options that we clearly understood. He gave a competitive quote (no the lowest, but we were sold on Todd, that if the rest of the experience was the same, it would be great). IT WAS. Before installation day, they communicated with us via text to keep us updated when the material was to arrive and confirm the install date. Prior to install we received a call to review the entire order and outline expectations. More text communications came in after that. (no one kept us guessing). They showed up at 7:30 am on install day and by 7:35 they were hard at work. Edwin was the supervisor and he was fantastic. The worker crew were super polite, they cleaned up every night before leaving and the same guys started the job and finished the job. They said they would be completed in 5 days, they were done in FIVE DAYS. When they found themselves nearing completion, they stayed (with my permission, because they asked me) until dusk...to get it done on time. When it came time to do the walk through, Edwin refused to take final payment from us until the punch list was done to my complete 100% satisfaction. Then......he came to my home and did the last touches HIMSELF. Subsequently, we received a customer satisfaction VISIT and 2 phone calls to make sure we were happy. WE ARE MORE THAN PLEASED, and the house looks fantastic. The work was done right, it looks great and every expectation that we had........was met. Thank you Todd and Edwin! Very professional.
