  I wish I could say the same thing about Tommy's, he was highly recommended to us by Sherwin Williams. He took all our kitchen cabinet doors and drawers to clean, repaint and re glaze. Everyone of my doors and drawers crackled. He blamed it on me using a wax on cabinets He stated." this is of no fault of JHC". His only solution was for me to buy new cabinets doors and drawers. I have picked up all doors and drawers with help of another painter with more years experience. He point blank told me this is not a wax problem at all.Tommy did not even offer to give me back my money as good faith. I put faith in his professionalism and expertise. As of now I am going to have to pay additional money to have someone redo them. Tommy did not stand up to his word or his work. What was to cost me $3200 will probably turn into $9000 if not more when all done. I am not one to bad mouth any one but this has been a nightmare for me.

  Anne I am sorry you were unhappy with our assessment of your situation. Your cabinetry doors and drawers were not economically feasible to refinish which is why replacing them was suggested. You were also you were given a full refund of any money you paid to JHC.

  I have been trying to contact this company back since Hurricane Florence. I would attempt to make a call twice a day during regular times at least 3 times a week. Today I finally got someone to pick up the phone only to have them leave the phone laying on a desk where I could hear someone having a conversation out loud and ignoring my call. I waited patently on the line for 4mins hoping someone would finally begin to talk to me. However they simply left the phone laying there so that they would not have to answer the phone anymore. At this point and after this interaction if this is how they like to conduct themselves I don't think I want their help anymore. If this is how they treat customers, one could only guess how their work is. I would not recommend this business ever.

  I'm sorry you have had such an issue getting in touch with someone. May I ask what number you have called? Whom you have spoken to, and lastly what is your name? My wife answers the business line and I do not believe she would ever treat anyone like this let alone someone calling about our business. I will speak to her and find out if she knows anything about this immediately.

  Excellence. Integrity. Quality. The whole experience was smooth. Mr. Johnson provided superior service and presence on the location at a very fair price. Repairs to the home were accomplished as stated as well as extra repairs that were initially unseen. On time and on budget and those are the two most important qualities when choosing a contractor. Thank you, Mr. Johnson for a job well done.
