  We bought the house Andy and Edna South had Shelby Johnson build them(see previous review). During Hurricane Sally 90% of our windows leaked and ruined our walls and hardwood floors. After having an engineering company do an evaluation, they determined the windows were installed incorrectly. We contacted Johnson Construction(Shelby specifically)about this issue. He ignored all attempts to resolve the issue. We will try again to contact the company to hopefully resolve this issue.

  Shelby and his crew did an amazing job fixing my house after it was heavily damaged by a fallen tree during a tropical storm. He was always quick to respond and resolve any questions or concerns. It was an extremely stressful time but Shelby did an amazing job and got me back into my house quicker than we expected. I can not recommend this company enough. Professional, exceptional quality, great communication, and I wish more people did as great a job as Johnson Construction did for me and my home.

  We are still in the process, but well in to the construction of our new home we have found Johnson Construction (Shelby) to be an expert in his craft, honest, and extremely creative. There is a dedicated crew to our home that is doing the work day to day, and from what my neighbors tell me they are hard working all day, polite, and thorough. I can see the house come along as I check on it, but my neighbors see it all day and say that I have found a great builder, and that they are very impressed with the quality of the build. We got to know Shelby , his wife and daughter through the building of our home. They are truly great people. My wife and I highly recommend Johnson Construction. UPDATE - We moved in to our new home in 2016 and what a wonderful job they did! We asked Shelby to build us an extremely strong custom home, and he gave us so much more than we could have asked for! We truly love our home. Thank you Shelby, JJ, & team, you are absolute professionals and awesome to work with! Andy & Edna
