I was very impressed with John Mondloch Remodeling. I had contacted 3 other contractor's in the time frame of 3-6 weeks and all 3 did not contact, email or leave a message. John was not able to do installation of my cabinets due to other contract fulfillments and availability, but promptly contacted me back the next morning. He even went through the trouble of trying to figure out other contractors that could do my installation of cabinets. Also if they had a cancellation John would contact me back to see if I still needed my cabinets installed. I also called his company and talked to Amy, one of his employees. She answered the phone in a very professional and friendly way. She was very pleasant to talk to. John expressed excellent communication skills along with a very comfortable personality and when he was unable to do installation and tried to figure out other contractors that could do my installation. This displayed professional courtesy to other contractors. His employees demonstrated the same skills and kindness. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to have remodeling

I had an old metal stair railing in my home. Looked like something from the 70's. It bothered me that it did not match my kitchen. I wanted a maple banister, only 4 feet. I wanted to do it myself, but it was too iconic, I was deathly afraid of messing it up and making it even worse. So I put my confidence in John and his team. What a breath of fresh air! The estimate was good, the cuts were precise, and the installation was done in a couple hours. Super grateful. With 5 kids at home, it is still holding up very well even after 2 years. Yes, this review is long over-due, but I recommend John to anyone.

John and his crew have done replacement windows for us, including a remodel on our bay window to make it a very large "bump out" window with a 9' long sill. He did this job 9 years ago. The windows and sills are looking and working just as good as the day of install...and we have our kids and all of their friends climbing all over and using the sill in the bump out window as a seat, daily. His crew did bathroom flooring and install of a new toilet. He also did remodeling work adding a bedroom to our basement. The craftsmanship by him and his crew is absolutely impeccable. In our experience with John a project is not done until it's done right, exactly to the agreed upon specifications. He is incredibly reliable, and effiencient, always going above and beyond our expectations. If my husband, a chronic perfectionist diy'er, can't do something himself the only person he trusts to do as good a job as he would is John and his crew.
