  LARGE CRACKS ON RIDGE MOTAR. WARRANTY MEANS NOTHING. I had a roof replaced by JKS Roofing at my winter home in Naples at the start of covid. It took me a year to write this review because I wanted to give Jordan  an opportunity to correct the roof defect and sloppy workmanship(see attached pictures} After months of unreturned phone calls  to Jessica the secretary, my wife had to fly down to JCP roofing in Fort Myers to surprise Jordan  in his office to get a  response. He claimed he did not get the message from his secretary Jessica, My wife showed him pictures of the shoddy workmanship which include old flashing which was not replaced with the new roof, black tar on the outside wall , and large cracks in the mortar. His response was that the roof passed inspection and there was nothing for him to do. Initially he refused to look at my roof then agreed. About a week  later I received a phone call again stating  he would not fix the defect. I contacted a couple roofers  to correct the problem.  All of them  admitted that it was shoddy unacceptable workmanship  but refused to help me because they did not want to get involved with an ongoing dispute. I contacted my insurance company who informed me that since I signed the check over to Jordan it was nothing they could do. That was my biggest mistake. I would now have to fix the defect out of my own pocket. Hopefully someone would benefit from this review.

  Mr. Fraser Cracked mortar is not a warranty issue, especially after several years. The mortar is not what makes your roof water tight. The mortar is more cosmetic than anything else. I find it very hard to believe several roofers who install tile roofs called cracked mortar shoddy workmanship. It is very typical for the mortar to crack. Your roof is not leaking. There have been several named storms that have come thru the area and your roof remained intact and water tight. Yet here you are years after your roof install coming onto the internet in an attempt to drive business away from how we feed our families.

  We used JKS Construction to replace the old roof on our warehouse. We were very pleased with the completed work and even more with their willingness to work around our schedule so we did not need to shut down our operation at all during the replacement. I am now in the process of replacing the roof on my home with them. Once again I am pleased with the entire process.

  A friend referred JKS Construction after I bought my house with an older roof. They were able to get me the roof I wanted at the price I wanted. It did take a little longer than I expected but they kept up on the communication. The biggest issues were supply issues which they could not control.
