  JAY Construction installed a new roof and 4 skylights. The job price was very fair, all the work was done on time, extra care was taken to keep the job site neat and with the cleanup when the job was completed. An excellent job. A very professional group.

  JAY Construction is a fantastic option for several types of home renovation needs. My project was to convert my 340sq ft 2 car garage into a mother/daughter for my mom to move in and have as her own studio style living space but still have access to the rest of my house. Let me tell you, John and his company was the only company who weren't just willing to take that job on, but did so with the utmost professionalism, detail, flexibility to our ideas, and hard work I have ever been a part of as a home owner. John came over himself to evaluate the scale of the work, put together a detailed estimate and plan of action down to the most minute detail with a budget for every category of the job (windows, HVAC, Doors, etc.), provided an accurate RANGE of what the final cost could be (if you go over your budget in each category of work it will of course be MORE then quoted, people forget this), took care of all the permitting, and executed the job within the time frame he said it would take. Aside from this, John, his crew (Bobby, Mikey, etc) and his office manager Jeanie, more or less became family. They are genuine people who do great work and do it not just up to the standard you want, but to a VERY high standard THEY have set. This may have been one of their smaller scale jobs as far as a renovation is concerned and when I tell people I did a "garage conversion" for an older family member I guess they think it is just a matter of putting up a couple of false walls and some flooring and heat. That is NOT the case if you want it done professionally, legally, and with the same quality as if it was an addition added onto your home. I plan on using JAY for my deck renovation and eventually my roof, as they are a full service home contractor. They do use sub-contractors for electric, paint, insulation, etc but they are subs that are basically part of their crew and they always use. I don't mess around with who I hire to work on my home. I have a VERY high standard for who I hire for work and who I hand money to. I can tell you, with pictures below, JAY Construction is probably the best contractor I've hired. I found them by pure luck and I am thankful they helped give my mom her forever home for the later stages of her life and did so in a manner that added to the quality and value of my home.   From the call scheduling a quote to today months after the project has been completed I have been continually impressed by the courteous professionalism of everyone at JAY Construction. This was our first major home project and we were overwhelmed with decisions, but every step of the way John and Jeannie were there to give advice and keep us on schedule. Pricing was very fair and all quotes and change orders were prompt and detailed. John oversaw every bit of work done and is extremely detail oriented. Every concern we had he was one step ahead and already dealing with. It's such a relief knowing that someone knowledgeable cares so much to make sure that everything works exactly as it should. We stayed in the house while work was being done and his crew of Bobby, Mikey and Ryan and all the subcontractors were a pleasure to be around every day. They did great work and were always thoughtful about how parts of the job would affect us and our pets. We love our home so much and owe it to everyone at JAY Construction. I just can't say enough good things about them.
