HRC just accidentally cleaned my gutters.... :) The best we could tell the previous owners accidentally gave them our address and that is where the work order sent the crew. Maybe an old habit.... I got home as the two man crew wrapped up their work. We quickly found out that they were at the wrong home. What made me the most happy is that even though we found out they had been sent to the wrong home, they spent five more minutes doing the final clean up, blowing clean the sidewalks and and even wiping down my grill that had some gutter junk on it. I can't speak for the front office or even the price, but the workers were very kind to my almost unhappy confusion and whatever happened in the background that sent them to my house. Nice guys at HRC.

I've given this a one star merely because I had to, but within reason I wish I could leave a 0 star review or even less. I had a shingle on my roof fly off and had HRC Roofing come in because they did a fantastic job the first time after a similar event happen last year. I figured since they had done such a fantastic job the first time I would have them come back in. Last year the bill was $120 (which was with two workers) for them to come up and put in my shingle (which I provided) which was fantastic. This time to put up the shingle (which I also provided this time) for me they charged me 2.5 hours of work. 2.5 hours to put in ONE SHINGLE and nail down a couple other loose ones, which came out to a bill of over $200. However, I will say that 200 for roofing work is still cheap but their reasoning could have been better. Well I called them and since they didn't have a high enough ladder, (two-story house, what roofing company doesn't run around with ladders that high?) the worker had to go back and retrieve a higher ladder (which I was unaware of, he could've told me when he arrived and maybe I would've understood) which they billed into my time. So I guess they're admitting their work is just as valuable as waiting at red lights and cruising along the streets while my money is counting away. Lady at the front office tells me that normally they would have sent two crew members, so be glad that I'm not paying double. Two crew members? For one shingle? Is the other one going to hold the ladder steady for him and provide moral support? I will also say that the worker who came was very nice, and did amazing work. My issue is mainly with the front office, their attitude, and their reasoning. Her final words were "Don't argue with me and just pay the bill okay?" I was speechless. Literally speechless. I would not recommend HRC unless you have absolutely no other option, but slide that name of the bottom of your list and find yourself another company, one who will go up for the price and be nice about it.
