  Had this company install an egress window. First issue is when the cut through the foundation and cut a wire that shut off all power to my basement. Took about a week to finally make contact with the company as to when an electrician was going to come out to fix it. Once the wire was fixed it took about another week of no contact to find out when they were going to finish the drywall as this was included in the estimate. Once it was all finished I paid the remaining half and come to see the finished product does not look as crisp as a professional would say. Left the site of the projects trim very dirty causing me to have to vacuum and wipe a lot of dust. Some of the paste was smeared over the trim so I have to scrape that off now too. Then parts of the drywall aren't even complete leaving a fat gap between the drywall and the trim that I have to fill now. In my opinion, if I am going to pay almost $4000 for a window job it better be left clean and proper. Won't be asking Hoyer for any more work sadly. EDIT: I have contacted Ben Hoyer and he swiftly responded with an urge to come fix the problem. Very happy with this response.

  We had Hoyer come to do our deck and were very excited for it to get done. They began the project in late Sept. and it took them about a week. On the last day, as the crew was leaving they saw me come in the driveway and I was informed they damaged the siding on our house. I was told this would be fixed and that they would come back to add some final boards to the deck as well. In November I started messaging the company to see when this would be finished and after multiple times I was finally told that they ordered the siding and were waiting for it to arrive. Then a couple weeks later I got a call that they can't match the siding that I have. So why was I told that it was already ordered if they couldn't match it? He said he would try to figure something else out. Now another month has gone by and I have heard nothing. I have reached out through email, text, and phone call with no response. My house has a piece of siding missing and the deck is still missing a board on the stairs. I wouldn't recommend this company for your projects. Find someone else who will stay true to their word and complete the project as described.

  We had our house sided last year. They sent a person that does roofing he had no idea what he was doing and told us that. After two weeks only the back of our house was done. We called a couple of times to see what was going on. Finally we got workers to the house. So many errors. Siding that doesn't overlap enough. Siding that has fallen off.. Caulking around our windows looks like a third grader did. We have called this company so many times and they come and do nothing. We would never refer this company to anyone.
