Had an appointment set up with them for a roof replacement for which I took time off of work to meet the associate. I told them before hand I didn’t want to sit through a 45 minute hard sell, I just wanted an estimate, so they never showed up or called to cancel.

I have never seen windows of such high quality.  The nstallers almost installed 21 windows in 1 day.  If it had not poured down raining, they would have been able to complete the installation in one day. The installers were on time both days, and they cleaned up after themselves. They were polite and professional.  It was a great experience.  I highly recommend this company.  The project manager came out to check the installation, and to see if we were satisfied and had any questions.

This company solicits to the point of almost harassment. We just moved in less than a year ago and have had representatives knock on our door 4x all during a pandemic. When told we aren’t interested they continue to ask questions and won’t leave. I did allow a person to give us a roofing “quote” initially. When they arrived, after saturating my home in a very strong overwhelming cheap cologne smell, they gave a very pushy overpriced sales pitched followed by several emails offering “discounts” and pushing for a sale all after being told no. Offering $10k or more off the initial “quote” given and pushing “decide now or you won’t get this price”. They even implied to my husband he should leave me out of the decision since he’s the primary breadwinner.  That’s just bad business. I am tired of my young children’s nap and schooling being disturbed by solicitors I’ve already told multiple times I am NOT interested. Also, the sales people the last several times have been very disheveled looking and not the type I would want to let in my home. Very unprofessional.

Edited to add: I have placed multiple no solicitation signs in my front yard and the salesman today had the audacity to tell me him knocking was not trying to sell me anything and he wasn’t being disrespectful by knocking. This company won’t take no for an answer. It’s really obnoxious. I’ve asked multiple times for them to leave me alone.

Aggravating to say the least. This company knew my wife would not be home when I set the appointment. We are both government employees and work rotating schedules which make it difficult for us to be at home at the same time.  I’m certain that all military families and government employees in the area can appreciate this situation. First, the person showed up late. He was sloppy to say the least but not only in his appearance but his presentation. He claimed he was not a sales person and he only worked in marketing. But he assured me that they want our business and will do what they can to make us happy.  As I was looking through the door catalog, he decided that he did not want to move further in quoting me a price without my wife being here. This was a total waste of time for me as I’m sure any working husband and father would understand. When you make an appointment with a company and they already know ahead of time the  spouse won’t be there they should just not take the appointment to begin with. I’m thankful that he cowered out of the home the way he did and that we did not do business with them.  If they can’t do something simple like a quality in-home presentation I can’t imagine how bad the quality of work would be.

Yet another case of unwelcome solicitation. They've been spamming my mom's phone from multiple numbers after multiple times of telling them to stop. Now reporting this company to the FTC because they clearly don't understand the concept of no.

It is with much regret that we cannot recommend HCR (Homefix Custom Remodeling).  We we very pleased with the construction that went on at our house:  new roof, 13 new windows and new gutters with leaf guards.  Things went well from our first appointment - yes, you should expect an average of 4 hours for spiel and paperwork.  Our Sales Mgr, Heath Lee, was very kind and didn’t try to sell us anything that we didn’t need or want.  Even though we were in no rush, construction started almost immediately.  It was frustrating working with three different departments (roofs, windows and gutters).  There was the usual “that’s not my department” as multiple calls had to be made.  The workers were neat and thorough with their skills – there was no question of quality.  Any discrepancies were addressed immediately – until we got to a problem on the final punch list.
As you can see by the attached photo, there appears to be a color mismatch between the eaves and the downspouts.  After we brought it to HCR’s attention they sent three people out on separate occasions, while we weren’t home, who couldn’t see the problem.  Two more people came out while we were there so we could explain our viewpoints.  Ryan brought his color chips to compare the two tones of whites.  He was the first to use the term “optical illusion”.  Maybe so, but it’s an annoying optical illusion we see when we pull into the driveway.  As if programmed into a script, we heard “we (HCR) ordered Bright White gutters”.  It doesn’t matter what you ORDERED, if you can’t verify what you DELIVERED!  The company VP tried to tell me that the eaves and the downspouts were extruded from the same sheet of material – which goes against what we’ve learned and had been shown previously.
Pictures were taken at various times of the day and various levels of sunshine.  It was suggested it could be the reflection of the brick exterior – which sounds reasonable.  I can’t imagine that we’re the first brick home they’ve worked with.  Bottom line, it doesn't MATCH! Because we weren’t asking for the eaves to be replaced (with what??), we asked for a discount of ½ off the cost of our eaves (less than 1/30th of the total bill).  To get them to match we will have to paint them ourselves.
As important as Customer Reviews are to HCR, I am having a hard time imagining that Customer Satisfaction is not at the top of their list.  WE CANNOT RECOMMEND HCR.

From the start, the company has been given my mother and I the runaround from the initial replacement of the siding to the periodic upkeep of the siding and roof.  We have been on an eternal hold from them for the past 3 months in trying to get repairs done to our roof that was pulled out by birds.  When they finally did send someone out, he went on the roof and 10 min later came down and said that the work couldn't be done because he didn't have the proper materials and he would need to special order them.  Havent heard from him or the company since and it's been 2 weeks.  This company has terrible customer service and they are even worse when it comes to doing what they say they are going to do.  Avoid this company if at all possible

Highly recommend HCR! They were able to assist me when other companies either cancelled or delayed even giving a quote for a month. HCR is truthful, responsive and professional from top to bottom. Window was installed when promised. Exceptional company! High quality product.

Full siding, trim, gutters. $48,00 job. Company says 2-3 days for full complete.  Home owner vacation planned for Saturday. Work supposed to begin Monday, weather delays so work now starts Tuesday, three or four person crew. They take down siding on two sides of the house and lay 3 or 4 panels of siding. Wednesday. One person crew. Minimal work done, because one person.  Thursday three or four person crew, one short side of house and 3/4 of the back sided. A/C damaged, wires nicked for compressor. Crew did not say a word to us that they may have damaged it.  The company had to pay for repair.  Friday .. rain delay. Vacation delayed. Crew supposed to be out Saturday. No show. Cannot contact anyone on crew.  Fourth of July holiday so home owner vacation delayed indefinitely. Still cannot contact crew, no answers. Company says can we wait until vacation. Thousands of dollars worth of materials in driveway, ladders, debris all over yard.  No we can't.  Definitely understand weather delays but a 2-3 job running into week two is unsatisfactory.

Crew promised to be out Monday after 4th of July. No-one showed.  We get a hold of customer care, no-one felt like working that day. Turns out foreman of job went out of town without telling anyone. We are again promised a full crew plus 3 or 4 people extra to get the job done fully on Tuesday.  Same crew arrives. There were three extra bodies but they were gutter people, not siding installers. They pulled the siding off the front of the house then went home. Crew worked all day, still not done, they worked until almost dark.  Wednesday they do finish the job but as I am walking into the garage after they have cleaned up, I notice a window pane broken in the door, with no broken glass anywhere.. Can prove it was whole that morning due to security camera. No-one says a word until I found it. You know you did it, you cleaned up the glass.  One of the PM's says they will fix it early next week. Gutter crew comes and knocks the job out in a couple of hours.  On walkaround, notice a few things wrong -- we are promised to be out early the next week to fix them and the glass they broke -- oh and by the way, our ONLY compensation was a $500 check. We have received that, but the window is still broken and the items left undone are still undone -- three weeks later.

Overpriced, terrible communication, terrible customer service. The crew DID do good work.
