  My Favorite locally owned construction products company, Don is a very nice manager and the rest of his employees are very nice and very helpful, they support St.Judes children's hospital. Truly a great store. I added a photo to show that Don ordered a single piece of carport metal for my boss.

  I always try to do my business with local companies whether I'm going out for dinner to fixing up my home and sometimes it just doesn't pay to spend your hard earned money with a business that doesn't value the small customer that is just coming in to replace windows in his home. First after ordering my windows they were ordered wrong so we had to wait for the new ones to come in and was told that I would have a credit at the Home Warehouse for the remaining balance that was owed to me. Thought great, next time I need something I know exactly were I'm heading to since I had a credit on the books. Fast forward to today as I'm speaking to my mother about her sliding glass door I remember that I had a credit at Home Warehouse and it's been a few years and I haven't used it so suggested she go out there for her sliding glass door and can use the remaining balance that I was told would be available for my next purchase. She travels out there to do business with a local company because we dislike the big box stores that funnel the money out of our local economy and she was told that they don't have a copy or record of it and asked for my copy. This was 5 years ago and I didn't keep a copy of my slip that long thinking I was dealing with a local business and they will stay true to there word. Boy was I wrong. Should of gotten my money back and took it to Lowe's when they first messed up my window order. Apparently if you owe a company money they will turn it into collections and damage your credit score, but when you're just a consumer and the company that your doing business with messes up your order it's ok to tell them "we owe you one, you have 140 dollars credit here" but when it comes time to collect it you get the "What, 2012... Our records don't go back that far, show us a slip." I unfortunately don't have a slip, but I do have the internet and able to write a review. I'm just glad it was for only 140 dollars. Do your self the favor and go to the big box store on this one and don't get the run along of first the mix up on the ordering of the windows, then the THEFT of your hard earned money.
