  We had 3 quotes for spray foam insulation in the basement and insulating our attic and they were by far the most expensive with more than double the price than the other companies. They had said they took payments tho (we later found out they don’t, it’s actually a loan from a separate financial institution) and since we didn’t have thousands to pay upfront for this project alone we went with them. We waited over 6+ weeks and when they came to do the spray foam they didn’t do the full wall like we had agreed upon and we had been charged for. We did do a walk through with the workers prior to them starting. I understand mistakes happen and even tho it was inconvenient and we had to stay in a hotel another night I wasn’t super upset. They came back the next day and still didn’t finish the spray foam! My husband had gone through again telling them all exterior walls needed sprayed top to bottom prior to them starting the second time. The worker had called saying they had finished and everything was done so we came home from the hotel the next day only to find that they had only done half the wall on 3 of the exterior walls. At this point, I was upset. We had paid to board our dogs and rabbit 3 nights and had paid for a hotel since we had a newborn. I am self employed and work from home and had to cancel all of my clients more than once due to their mistakes. Our doctor stated we needed to be out of the house at least 8 hours and the other companies stated 24 hours. HSI recommended 24 hours but stated they only required 4 hours. My husband works nights so we had to get a hotel regardless because he needed to sleep before going back to work. They ended up finally coming back a month later to finish and were an hour late. I made sure to get my baby up early and be packed and ready to go and then had to wait an additional hour for them to arrive to do yet another walk through. The manager had stated they had plenty of spray foam for the project originally but the workers stated they ran out which is why they weren’t able to finish the first or second time. Smoked cigarettes were left out back and we have animals on our farm so I’m glad I was able to pick them up before the animals ate them. I understand mistakes happen but their mistakes cost us several hundreds of dollars extra on top of the expense of the insulation. As a small business owner myself I understand mistakes happen but they didn’t really seem to care their mistakes were costing us extra money and the inconvenience of being out of our house. Overall not a good experience. We won’t be back.

  Home Solutions was very professional and completed the roof installation in a timely manner. The crew was very friendly and kept us updated throughout the install. The roof looks amazing and I would definitely recommend to anyone.
