*Final update All issues resolved and roof is done. Overall a quite frustrating process and I had to expend way too much of my own time with it for for much I paid. If you do use them, make sure Brian is not your project coordinator. Ginger and Rocco get 5 stars, Brian gets negative infinity. *Update They really need to be grateful for Ginger. She stepped up after I fired her replacement Brian. Because of her I'm slowly raising the rating back up. She worked her butt off to ensure my interior is exactly as it was prior to the work and it now is. There are still some outstanding issue, but not as critical as all the plaster damage. Working with High Performance Homes has been nothing short of a nightmare. The roofers did not secure my exposed roof when it started raining last week and caused extensive damage to my plaster ceiling in my 100 year old home. The project coordinator said moisture is normal and is trying to get.out of fixing my damaged ceiling. There was a literal stream of water coming from a light fixture and caused a puddle on my dining room table. My gutters are also clogged now from debris and he doesn't care about fixing that issues either. Do not use! Edit! Active leak for nealy a week now. Kitchen is getting destroyed by it and can't get them to send anyone to fix.

I had a good feeling when I agreed to the sales pitch for the much needed new roof on my house. My friends laughed at me when I told them how much money was quoted but I had a good feeling and felt like I was going to have an excellent experience. What ensued was anything but. I was told they would need about 3 days to do the entire project. I had my doubts but was assured it would get done properly. All they needed was 1 day of nice weather to remove the old roof, install the plywood and wrap to prep for shingles. Made sense to me, so I was sold. The project was delayed a couple days due to poor weather, so I felt good that the proper decisions were being made. This was the first week in December and the weather was taking a dramatic turn for the worse. I assumed the project would be delayed for a while. I was surprised to come home one rainy day and see half my roof missing and rain pouring on it. Of course when I reached out to ask about this, the communication disappeared. The project ended up taking much longer than expected and the total damage to my house will not be known for years to come I’m sure. I had one obvious leak intrusion from the pictures below. They did repair the wall seam after a few requests. The guy they sent out didn’t even bring the proper tools or materials. I had to supply paint and clean up after him. He was not an employee of the company but rather a union buddy of one of their employees. Please do not ever consider anyone from this company for anything you need done. I have a few other projects I need to have repaired and I will not be using them. My interactions with this company have changed my outlook on some things, and I did learn a lot. Please take my advice and learn from me. Do not use high performance homes.

A door to door guy happened to stop me on my way out one day and ask about my roof. I'm not normally one to go for that stuff, but I was already planning on replacing my roof this Spring anyways. I scheduled an inspection and estimate for a couple days later. Josh and Martin were beyond prompt on showing up for the appointment (a little early). The inspection was thorough, and they both seemed very knowledgeable of the product they were selling as well as existing roofing systems built in the area. The two of them were very easy going, personable, and seemed at ease with my dogs and toddler running around the whole time. Martin did well with explaining the cost, and providing breakdowns of various financing scenarios. They have maintained contact the whole time to ensure the project is moving along and we are satisfied every step of the way. 10/10 would do business with Josh & Martin again. My final product has not yet been installed and the job is not complete (weather delays, understandable). So far so good, will update if necessary upon completion!
