  We are very sorry this happened. But you were advised in 2014 that the Skylight needed replaced because it was old and brittle and Mr. Shook did not want it replaced. In 2016 after the heavy snow we were called out that it was leaking and we again advised that it needed replace. We took pictures and showed Mr. Shook that it was cracked and he just wanted us to seal it. He was told at that time it was just temporary and was given a bid to replace it. You didn't replace the skylight as advised. We even gave you a name of someone else to call to replace the skylight. So because you didn't replace the skylight and it has been 7 years we are not responsible for the damage to your ceiling.
