They didn't hit the studs when installing the siding only about half of them. Out door lights and water Faucet. When they put them back on they used dry screws. That rust off in 6 months. Jobs not done and received letters about being sued for payment. Who pays before job it is done. Very nice man who we signed us up to do the job. Then doesn't return phone calls When you have a problem. I would not recommend this company. So more I could say they did wrong. But they don't care once you pay. And then they rude on the phone. Sidings was also waving. Lol what can say but I hope this helps

Mr. Holmes, We completed your roofing, siding, garage doors, and gutters in the year 2020. Are you sure you are writing a negative review on the correct company? I see you have had a large addition added to your home/garage. The picture you have uploaded shows un-completed bare wood fascia on the new addition. We did not complete your addition. We did not complete any fascia work for you. We billed you for the COMPLETED work we performed on 11-24-20. You refused to pay until we addressed concerns of yours. Which in fact you paid in full on 4-9-21. ******This is a very curious/ and serious allegation on your behalf. We love all our customers and appreciate every client. However we will not stand for slander. Allow us to show the truth in fact. 1. Holmes complaint, "Lights were not installed properly by siding crew". Licensed electrician was hired to look at the lights. He stated indeed the lights were installed properly. Questioned Mr. Holmes intent as there was nothing to be done about his complaint. 2. Holmes complaint, "Electrical Blocks not installed proper." Electrician stated nothing was installed in-correctly. 3. Holmes complaint "Nails protruding through the sheathing in the shed from the roof". Per Tamko Shingle manufacturer. a. TAMKO recommends the use of nails as the preferred method of application. Standard type roofing nails should be used. Nail shanks should be made of minimum 12 gauge wire, and a minimum head diameter of 3/8 in. Nails should be long enough to penetrate 3/4 in. into the roof deck. Where the deck is less than 3/4 in. thick, the nails should be long enough to penetrate completely through plywood decking and extend at least 1/8 in. through the roof deck. b. Drive nail head flush with the shingle surface 4. Holmes Complaint, “They didn’t hit the studs when installing the siding only about half of them". The job was done correctly as we have explained multiple times. a. From the Vinyl Siding Institute … “Fasten nails or other fasteners in the center of the nailing slot and make sure the fastener penetrates a total of at least 1 ¼” into a nailable material such as wood sheathing and/or framing. b. From the Mitten Manufacturer’s Instructions … The Fasteners need to penetrate a total of 1 ¼” through wood or a material with equivalent holding power. Typically, that would be through ½” of wood sheathing if a ¾” thick sheathing is used There never seemed to be an end to his complaining. Our siding crews and crew leaders came back to his home 4 times. Our Sales Rep and Sales Manager walked the property twice with him shook his hand. And the next week there were more issues. Our Production manager walked the home with Mr. Holmes twice. Ensuring the work was done properly per code. As he himself proclaimed, Mr. Holmes is no stranger to litigation. HE threatened us multiple times with a lawsuit. Which is meritless. When he paid in full we thought we had a happy customer. Obviously there is no way to make this guy happy. Good luck to the contractor that put on his addition, I hope they get the fascia installed ASAP. IN CONCLUSION: You are contacting the wrong company again. Greenguard was not the company you hired for your Addition that is "unfinished".

Quality Company with Excellent Customer Service! I highly recommend them! GreenGuard completed hail damage on my home. I needed a new roof, siding, windows and gutters. Wow it was quite the process, but they made sure everything was covered by the insurance company. Once everything was approved it couldn't have gone more smooth. The communication was excellent. The workers were on time and efficient. They used quality rated products and my home looks great!!!

Brian Walters was amazing! He provided a crew who were knowledgeable, equipped, swift and clean. Excellent work. Competitively priced. Wonderful financing options available. Have already recommend Green Guard Construction to two residences who have had or are having their work completed by your company.
Response from the owner
