I had a great experience with Great Roofing. Jake Hart was my main contact and provided an estimate. He was professional, timely, honest and communicative. The estimate was straightforward and reasonable. My roof was installed with no issues and no scraps or mess left behind. Def recommend if you’re in the market.

I had some noticeable damage to my roof from years of wind. I reached out to Great Roofing and Restoration and they were extremely responsive. Kourtni was able to come out right away and do an inspection, she was extremely thorough. She looked at the shingles, the siding, the facia, and even went into the attic to make sure that she knew what she was dealing with. They were able to come out the next day and get everything fixed up good as new! They were very professional, responsive, reasonably priced, and pleasant to work with. I would absolutely recommend Great Roofing & Restoration for any roofing needs!

I contacted great roofing for a repair on a small flat roof for a new house I was purchasing. This was during the peak of summer and COVID craziness so I know the timeframe would be a stretch but they were able to come out and get me quote relatively quickly and while it was more expensive than what I had seen from others they outlined a good amount of work to be done and I felt confident the work would be done the right way. It was late April when I paid the deposit and was told they would be in touch for when they could start work on repairs. I was told they were 5 weeks out and that week of June 7th they could start shortly after we closed. On June 9th I reach out as we hadnt heard any update. At that time I am told that they are a week and half out and should start week of June 21st. On June 18th(Friday) they reach out and say they should be out to our house mid-next week. On June 24th(Thursday) we reach out as we hadnt seen or head from anyone and get no response. They finally get out to start work on the 29th - now I will admit there was rain/weather during this time and the pushing of start date wasnt a big deal but really just the lack of communication. The crew does show up and we explicitly mentioned we had new carpet installed and for them to use drop cloths and day 1 I come home to find large black boot marks all over our new carpet. They did bring a carpet cleaning machine and remove the boot marks. Fast forward and it is 12/24 and I am finally closing this out. The work done seems to be up to snuff but the communication and timeline leaves things to be desired. I will admit that my schedule played into the delay as I was on my honeymoon when they reached out to do final touch ups (Nov 15th roughly).

Duncan, we are very surprised by your review. If you were dissatisfied by the work or process we wish you would have let us know prior. We build all of our jobs in order of which they are signed and deposits are made. When we have weeks of rain in the spring we have to move all customer jobs accordingly. It is the only fair way to do it as each customer wants to get their work taken care of as soon as possible. That is why when we say we are 5 weeks out we always say, weather and production pending and do no give exact dates until we are within a 48-72 hour window. You also never made a deposit on the job and we asked for no payment throughout the entire process until it was completed and you were satisfied with the work. This might have seemed like a small simple job but it was a multiple step job. Your custom railing had to be installed on the exterior, wood repairs and replacement for exterior paint prep, multiple days of exterior painting, interior drywall and water stain prep, interior painting, interior touch ups (we did at no additional charge) vinyl siding repairs, roof repairs that were a multiple step/day process and a window repair (no additional charge and also required a material run and another trip to the home). Not to mention, a good amount of work was on a third story balcony that only had access by crawling out a small bedroom window with interior access. We did have drop clothes down on your carpet each and every time we visited the home. As we were wrapping up work we accidentally stepped on the carpet and that is where the marks came from. We took 100% ownership of it and immediately cleaned it with no questions asked. If there is still an outstanding issue there please let us know. You were also concerned that the roof was still leaking after the work was completed in July. We asked you to monitor it and keep us posted. We thought we were being a good company by allowing it some time to make sure it was not still leaking. We scheduled touch ups after allowing months of monitoring for leaks and repaired your window while we were out and then billed. We will always try to communicate better with our customers but please understand that our job is to be in the field with our customers and not behind screens all day as well as repairs are not always easy clear cut jobs. We hope you and your wife enjoy the new house. GRR
