  I have used Glenny Roofing and Construction for at least a half-dozen jobs (big and small) since 2009. The work is always top-notch! Beyond the quality of the work, Troy is an excellent communicator who can put the details of the job into terms that anyone can understand. I have complete confidence in this company and will continue to use Glenny Roofing and Construction for all of my future needs.

  Glenny Construction did a great job with our home renovation in Richfield, OH. Troy was very professional and easy to communicate with. The project turned out beautiful. Our project included full kitchen and master bath renovation and whole house flooring. Troy also efficiently provided a detailed estimate/proposal to allow us obtain a renovation loan.

  Dangerous contractor with no regard for code, the law or homeowners privacy - be careful! He will give false and misleading statements that allows him to convince a homeowner he is trustworthy and does quality work. Troy Glenny was contracted to replace our roof. He refused to put a ridge vent in. When I complained he took it upon himself to replace the electrical power vent. Troy Glenny and Glenny Roofing and Construction is not licensed in the State of Ohio to do electrical work(your house might burn down). He had a building permit for the roof. The city came out and forced him to add ridge venting. He became enraged that the city was forcing him to ventilate the roof and then came onto our property at odd hours, for unknown reason, without notifying us. He then stated that he pulled an electrical permit and arranged for an "inspector" to come to our house as he stated that the city inspector needed to access our electrical panel and attic. The inspector showed up, came in our house and then stated that he was an "electrician", not with the city. The "electrician" did not properly identify himself before coming in our house. Troy was specifically told not to come to our house during the inspection. This was a result of him showing up at our house enraged. When the real city inspector came to our house he did not need to gain access to the electric panel or attic. We still have no idea who the creepy guy was that Troy Glenny sent into our house or if he is really an electrician. I will be contacting the City of Streetsboro to inquire about the electrician and the electrical permit, if such a permit does exist. As a result of all of this, we have informed Troy Glenny that he is not to come on our property and that if he does, we will be filing charges for trespassing.

  Not really sure how to respond to this complaint. The work performed was determined and paid for (over $11,000 worth of work) by a government program for low income individuals and families. All inspections were required and performed by local and state representatives. Any questions the client had could have easily been answered by the government project manager. He didn’t seem to understand the need for the inspectors required by the city and organization paying for his work. All electrical work was permitted and performed by a state licensed electrician, and all work passed all inspections.
